The beeping is SSTV messages or something and can be decoded into pictures and stuff apparrently and there is also one in some wall panel on commentary mode

lol there's a room in Portal 2 with lasers and all that, and then there was a wall that opened and I went in it and I found another secret room and in it there was a radio playing music so I took it with me all the way to the elevator :D
