I own the GoPro and the video that came out of it was identical in quality of the gopro company. Plus, try mounting this camera to your chest. This camera is only good for side helmet mounts. The shape limits itself for anywhere else.

@HapplyFace im going to say its actually worse. the vids on youtube are made by the go pro company themselves. but if you look at the the user's tests of the gopro, the quality is way worse. the contour at least looks good even with camera test vids.

@wonderwall135 I'll disagree w/ ur comment. Both are good cameras, it depend what ur shotting and how you want to shot it. Youtube has some side by side comparisons on both the Contour & the GoPro. Maybe user's don't have the pateince to upload HD quality vids for the GoPro (long uplaod time)?
