@dud321xyz even more to the point then, since the grass was slowed down, people seem to think that of the two, that it only Rafa got the benefit, whereas it very well could have helped Roger out as well. Its not like Fed's got a massive serve like Safin, or Karlovic, or Soderling.

roger is the best for one reason, there has not been anyone with the same talent than him, i mean is how he plays!! no matter how many prizes he has won or people have won, that's why federer and sampras are above all.... until someone more gifted appears and at least, this generation wont do that

@KaminariKatta its not as easy as that, seeing as they changed the grass in 2003, who's to say it didn't benefit Roger as well.

@neilnriley But even in 2003 the grass was significantly faster than lets say 2008. And the bounce has become a lot higher as well which benefits Rafa against Roger.There is a video on youtube indicating this. The faster the surface and the lower the bounce the better for Roger. But still, even on a faster grass surface Rafa would be a threat for Roger. It has merely to do with the mental edge Rafa has over Roger and his style matches up really well against Roger.

Federer the best of all time!!! the reason for the more winnings of nadal against federer is that they have faced more in clay, thats why nadal win, cuz he is not even able to reach the final in US open, australian Open, the best of federer, how can we expect reger to win more? hehe thats the answer!!!, Y'now, the best players are: ROGER FEDERER AND PETE SAMPRAS, nadal is nothing in history and even will not, cuz his boring style

@i'll go easy on you, because you're probably like 12 but lets be clear, Rafa has beaten Roger on ALL surfaces. Does that make Rafa the best player ever, no, or not yet, but right from their first match when Rafa was 17 and beat him on hard courts in Miami, Rafa's game matches up well to Roger's. Of course we also know that Rafa has now completed the career grand slam meaning, he is a threat to win every major he's in.

Yes they are. However they don't exactly live next to each-other. So in the sport of tennis, they are friends, and even text one another, if they win a championship with their congrats.
