Even on my renegade playthroughs I keep Legion, because

a) the potential to gain renegade points on Legion's loyalty mission outweigh the paragon points gotten by keeping Legion and the renegade points not gained as a result of doing so, and

b) even if that wasn't the case, I'd still keep Legion if I was going for Renegade, because Legion kicks ass.

I have a question, how the geths "reproduce"? and before you start shouting; "TTHEY BUILD MOAR OF THEMSELFS!! IDIOTXZ" realize that the module (body) is not the geth itself, its just like a car or mean of transport for the units (geths) inside. A thousand someting geths joins to create Legion's identity.

So there exist a fixed number of geth programs in the galaxy (even if they are like trillions) or they "build" more????

These hardwares would not be sentient themselves but are as smart as a VI individually. Think of it like a really advanced network with each computer terminal serving a function to get things done. Because of Quarian technology, their information is shared and their intelligence breaches the line to become sentient beings.

Their society operates in almost an identical way. Their sentience is in primitive. Individualism is rare as all of their cognitive behavior and aptitude relies heavily on a network of shared information. Legion is a rare exception and probably the only Geth to develop admiration. Hence no data on N7

The Geth unit built would have to go and gather data then share it with others as well as absorb collective data from other geth. Shared geth data would not be guaranteed to reach every geth unit across the galaxy. Therefore individualism is only summed up by the data gathered by the unit.  This would cause a difference in opinion hence the split from heretic
