This is the worst hydroplant i have ever seen !!!!!! only 3mw from that size of river? fools. dam height is 315 ft!!! it should produce like 10 mw :D

Are you sure that is just 4500 gallons per minute? That seems an awfully small amount of water for a floodgate.

@edeweese he is mistaken. it is 4500 gallons per second. 4500 gallons is about the volume of a small above ground swimming pool, for reference.

The valves work well and are hand operated by a big hand wheel. You can see then spinning the wheel in the video. We have nut used the mule in a while.

Thanks for posting this, I used to be a dam operator many years ago. Do they still have the Rigid mule motors to crank the hand wheels?
