  • What a croc!!!

  • alligatior are not the croc

  • Are alligators and crocodiles only found in the USA? - it would seem so from this video.

Of course most Americans don't realise that there is a world outside the US of A! - only kidding, I hope.

  • Crocodiles live in Africa

    Alligators live in America

  • @jaga6901 Not all crocadiles are from Africa. They have some in Australia to.

There are also Chinese alligators out there.

  • Nice break down!

  • Gators got a stronger bite so I'm not sure which one would win even if the croc is bigger size does not mean a automatic victory

  • crocodiles would win in a fight.

  • Couldn't make up your mind between making a documentary or a show-tune musical, eh? Thus you failed at both. I would have preferred the documentary.

  • Ouais, c'est caïman pareil.

[For those unintroduced to French, in which the words "caiman" (caïman [kaimã] ) and "almost" (quasiment [kazimã] ) sound about the same, my joke meant: "So, they are caiman/almost identical."]

This joke is not mine, but I like it, as I love these animals, when they are not in the water I swim in. In Rome, they never bothered me, so far.

  • in my opinion, people who have difficulty telling the difference between the 2 are mostly the Chinese. because in Chinese Alligator/Crocodile = the same word.

  • @seljean1 gators have bigger jaws, but smaller bodies.

  • I have to say this really helped with my Son's homework, we sat down and was able to pick some bits out of this so I was able to explain - thanks so much.

  • alligator and crocodile are not the same :D crocodile are more bigger than gator

  • Alligators are basically chode versions of crocodiles

  • also i know people who have been attacked by alligators and crocs same damage done. i am a florida native and see both in the wild quite often so people can stfu and stop saying that i dont know what im talkin about

  • its so annoying people thinking that a croc ca bite way stronger than a alligator because #1 it depends on the type of croc and #2 the average bite force of all types of crocs and both species of alligator are about the same (about 3500) psi but some crocodiles and alligators can reach 5000 if they are big enogh.

  • Gators are better and there bigger (my opinion)

  • I love alligators, there was a gator at the reptile show I was at, very sad, he was in acaged fence. very sad for that gator, just there to make man money. smh

  • INTERIOR CROCODILE ALLIGATOR I DRIVE A CHEVORLEY MOVIE THEATRE

  • i live in far north queensland Australia we have so many crocs up here they need to be culled.. we have some legendary crocs that are prehistorical in size

  • Never knew we had crocs in the US I thought we just had alligators.

  • Personally, all I needed to know was that it's better to be in the water with an Alligator than a Crocodile. Alligators are usually more docile.

Not that I'd choose to swim with either of them given the choice.

  • untrue facts. Crocs are foudn around the world, its the Alligators that are found in the S.usa and some parts of China.

  • thanks for that. i am now educated on the topic

  • i knew crocodiles we're better XDDD

  • I live in South Florida. :]

    Lots of crocs and gators.

  • Alligators such as the ones hunted by the swamp people are babies compared to crocs. CROCS ARE BIGGER AND MEANER

  • The biggest difference between Crocodiles and Alligators are their spelling.

  • wait on you tube type world biggest croc theres likke on thats 21 feet long

  • Watching this video is the most productive thing I have done all day.

  • Crocodiles can grow up to 20 feet long

  • @erkziltonz I think the biggest crocodiles are king crocodiles and saltwater crocodiles.

  • Does anyone know what the name and artist of the song is?

  • @Dalenna311

dude it says under the views count

  • @Dalenna311

This is "Got To Get You Into My Life" by The Beatles. It was originally on their Revolver album.

  • Which one has a more pwerful bite force croc or gator

  • @isaroytrev3 alligators but crocs are close

  • @camgatorman1998 uhhhh no? r u retarded. saltwater croc dumbass

  • i got here by crocodiles driving chevys

  • dumbass crocs are on the the othe side of the ocean were africa asia rusia that side gators are on the american side

  • @tyler434652

First of all belloongs russia to asia. secondly is Africa in the Atlantic and in Asia Pacific.

    dumbass

  • Go Gators!

  • Somebody posted a comment about Wikipedia saying crocodilians have a stronger bite force than alligators, just cause Wikipedia says it does not mean its true. This may be true but Wikipedia just lies

  • 0:20....Is the crocodile endorsing Colgate?

  • American alligators are the most cold-resistant crocodilians in the world. No other crocodilian lives farther away from the equator. Just an interesting fact to share.

  • Your text color makes it hard to read.. So I still don't know the difference

  • @KingJamesTM

    Then ur a dumbass..

  • TIP: post link in description

  • Alligators, Crocodiles, their both the same to me in my opinion

  • Ihate aligators now they get on my fuking nerves just like that song you get on my dam nerves

  • nice music !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good. Very informational...but too fast. Keep the text up for a few seconds longer. Because it is a lot to read. Also the text color could be changed so that it doesn't blend in with the background. It was very hard to see at times. Thank you.

  • INTERIOR CROCODILE ALLIGATOR

  • not being a smart ass or anything but crocodiles can reach up 2 23 ft :L sorry had to be said

  • like 50 percent of this is wrong wow

  • FAILED JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And a crocodile would own a alligator any day

  • @Canadianboii1918 croc's dont have the stronger jaw..im pretty sure...they have the teeth, but cmon both have extremely strong armored skin so..=D

  • Dip shit those are saltys that like salt waters, there's also nile crocodiles

  • good info, HORRIBLE music

  • @pusterput Haha White Trash... Maybe haha

  • So, Skin color wise, the only humans they are attracted to are Brown and Black? I'm glad I'm white...

  • @pusterput I guess thats why so many people are killed by crocodiles in Africa

  • I thought the difference in habitat was that crocs are in Australia nd gators are in America ?

  • that was so cool! and u missed one: crocodiles hav a stronger BITE than alligators, well actually, crocodiles hav THE strongest BITE EVER, u can see the article on wikipedia, just type in 'crocodiles' that site ROCKS! oh and plz donate to it!!!or els it's gonna close or something not sure, dont read this late , tho, or els it wont make sense!! c ya

  • @hopesuress Everywhere I've read says Alligators have the strongest bite force. As well as every animal expert I've watched do a documentary on gators

  • how ya meant to be able to read the fucking righting when its same colour as the background

  • @mario6sic6 Well judging by your grammar and spelling, you wouldn't be able to read the "righting" either way.

  • ya baby beatles rock

  • uhhh he forgot to mention that crocodiles are in africa and asia too. idiot

  • i wanna see a croc plus a gator! that would be a killing machine!

  • so basically a crocodile would kick the shit out of an alligator lol pussy alligators

  • @checkurhead801

Maybe lol but Alligators have more crushing power in their jaws and spend more time in the water. Alligators though can't stand salt water while Crocodiles like the salt water better. (Both come from a salt water ancestor but Alligators have lost some of the attachments so to speak to the salt water through evolution.)

  • Comment removed

  • an alligator just looks like a short fat croc.

  • @p3kranger98 its like the george costanza of the reptilian world

  • @p3kranger98 no at the same size a croc has a bigger bite forse a 2 ft long gator chold not ever break an tomato

  • What I'd really like to know is which should I be less afraid of...?

  • @LlamaSensei Aligator by a mile!!! Its like the crocs bitch ! :P

  • @LlamaSensei Crocidile because Alligators are more common if you live in America but there are some Nile Crocs so pretty much Gators because their size!

  • @LlamaSensei Gator xD

  • slides were wayyy too fast and fonts were hard to read.

  • In a fight who'd win?

I only know that alligators have a stronger bite force than the crocs

  • @2aoh

the - african nilo crock - got 10 times more strong bite force , usva alligator vs african nilo crock = the crocks are the bests , check this video and watch the size differenece too and the strong bite force and the bigger preys.

    watch?v=4J-MOWwgcnY

  • @2aoh no crocs have stronger bite force and saltwater crocodile vs an american alligator. the croc would destroy the gator

  • @MJRiley878

Its just that I read somewhere that Gators had stronger bite force.

    Thanks for that.

  • add me on facebook ( MrRoccboyy RipHootie Martin )

  • Paul Mcartney? thanks for helping me!

  • who would win an Alligator or a Crocodile?

  • @SkittleE275 a crocodile...

  • @thenewgeneration123 thats what i'd say

  • YOUR FONT COLORS FAIL!

  • alligator sounds smaller than crocodile but the reality is the other way around...

  • i don't care what people say about alligators making bad pets they are great as long as u feed them and give them respect they are awsome pets

  • Why do people keep saying that an Alligator has more bite force? I thought it was pretty common knowledge that a Crocs bite was significantly stronger than a gators? Hell, it was just on animal planet last night. In addition, Crocs can jump further out of water, and are more aggressive. Their both impressive creatures, but the Crocodile is the more evolved predator of the 2.

  • The biggest alligator was 19 or 20 feet. I can't remember which one exactly.

  • in a real fight, a croc would win, if it is same size that is. crocs have shorter tempers. alligators will warn you 1st.

  • 1:40 WIN

  • haha nice video...informative and good joke in the end...thankyou

  • i always thought that alligators were way bigger than crocs obviously i was wrong

  • i always thought that aligators wer bigger den crocks i guess i thought that coz aligators hava bigger front lol

  • im fromm texas and i have seen some alligators down south ...so u shuld put texas in that pic! but other than that badass vid helps alot

  • crocs are found in the best place of all aus

  • what is the name of the song? its good!

  • "Got to get you in my life" by The Beatles you've probably never heard of 'em ;)

  • thanks man!

  • plus 5 - 7 kg psi is even weaker then a humans bite

  • what ryu talking about nickkinpp

the croc has a stronger bite then the alligator

  • On the contrary, because of the wide snout of the alligator it packs more crushing power to eat prey like turtles that constitute part of its diet.

  • alligator

    1.bluish and blackish skin color

    2.when jaws shut,see no teeth

    3.u shaped snouts

    crocodile

    1.greenish brownish color

    2.v shaped snouts

    3.when teeth shut,still see teeth

  • Alligator vs Crocodile? thats easy, the gator wins with a 5-7k psi bite.. bye bye croc... case closed

  • NickKnipp1990, big deal, salties are known for their aggression and they can jump out of the water and rip you off a tree branch.

Both Alligators and crocodiles are awesome creatures. I dunno why people are making a competition out of this... It's like those "lion vs. tiger" dick heads... Both animals are cool.

  • @83uoykcuf Face it Ligers are the best XD

Male Lion + Female Tiger hybrids

  • @83uoykcuf better yet 'liger vs tigon'

  • @Viveora lol

  • Which runs faster though?

  • it depends on the reptile some win some lose! But crocs usually have a stronger bite and are a lot more aggressive.

  • Auctually, your wrong about 1 part. Alligaters can only be found in southern Flordia and in china, as crocidiles can be seen all around the world.

  • He wasn't talking about worldwide. He was talking about just in the US. And actually alligators are not just in South Florida. They are in various areas around the Southern US, even in areas around east texas. The only place gators and crocs exist together in the US is south Florida.

  • Comment removed

  • You got your hemispheres flip-flopped. The U.S. (where alligators live) is in the western hemisphere.

  • o my bad

  • @L1GHTN1N3 American alligators are found in the southeast United States: all of Florida and Louisiana, the southern parts of Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi, coastal South and North Carolina, Eastern Texas, the southeast corner of Oklahoma and the southern tip of Arkansas. According to the 2005 Scholastic Book of World Records, Louisiana is the state with the largest alligator population.

  • i have a baby pet crocodile:P

  • Very informative but have to agree regarding the text-- you can't put DARK text on an equally dark background-- hard to read in some spots... but it answered my basic questions... later, gator....

  • do they ever encounter each other in south florida? hmm wonder which would be the victor if both around the same size? hmmm ?

  • They meet more commonly in the Everglades.

  • One diference in them is Aligators have more powerful bite. But Crocs are more aggressive in general. So I guess it would depend on the individual animals fighting. Though most would just avoid each other unless territorial issues came up. N That's the nice thing about animals, they don't have egos when it comes to fighting like us humans. :-D

  • no silly, australian crocodiles have jaws which can crush with the power of over3000 pounds per square inch, and the american alligators bite strength is highest recorded :2125 per square inch, plus both types of crocs are more agressive than the alligator and crocs grow larger specifically australian.

  • "The broad snout of alligators is designed for strength, capable of withstanding the stress caused to bone when massive force is applied to crack open turtles and hard-shelled invertebrates which form part of their diet. Of course, alligators eat softer prey too, but hard-shelled prey are ubiquitous in their environment and it's a big advantage to be able to eat them. Conversely, the pointed snout of a crocodile isn't quite as strong as the alligatorine shape, but still capable of biting power

  • i think you just read over the part where i said that crocodiles have over 800 more pounds per square inch of crushing power with their jaw.

  • Uh huh, and I think you read over the part about "Conversely, the pointed snout of a crocodile isn't quite as strong as the alligatorine shape".

  • Alligators have a higher bite force, but not because of the snout, its because of extra muscle. The shape of the snout is actually spreading force out, and making it weaker in general. But they have so much more muscle than crocodiles, they are still pound for pound stronger.

  • the highest was 300lbs.

  • Alligators dominate over crocodiles in southern florida.

  • listen mate if u bring a aligator over to australia the crocs over at australia would rip the stupid gator to shreds cause in australia the crocs grow up 25 feet biatch

  • Thats because they are salties, the most aggressive crocodilians. Plus they dont grow that big anymore, due to overhunting. Alligators at one point reached 20 ft. on a regular basis. But again, because of overhunting they dont anymore.

    Average saltie- 16ft. 1200lbs.

Average aliigator- 12-15 ft. 1100 lbs.

I live in florida I have gators in my backyard almost every morning. I would know.

  • @DeepPillow Just because you 'see gators' doesn't make you an authority on the subject. Gators do not reach 20ft on a regular basis, the largest one recorded was 19ft. Dumbass. Everyone knows Australian slaties are way more badass than piss-ant gators.

Average croc: Big, bad, aggresive and strong.

Average gator: Small, timid, weak and fightable.

  • I farted and a ball pig cum came out

  • what would win in a fight if they were both the same length?

  • the crocodile cuase hes faster thn aligator

  • There are 2 types of crocs saltwater, the most common 1s then theres fresh water they have a much narrower snout.

  • name by which early Spanish explorers and settlers in Florida called the alligator. There are two living alligator species: the American alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) and the Chinese alligator (Alligator sinensis).

There are many adaptations for the American alligator. Baby alligators have an egg tooth that helps them get out of their egg during hatching time. They also have a muscular flat tail that propels them forward while they swim.

  • Wrong alligators are only found in South Eastern America, and China, while crocs are the more comon ones. :)

  • I would have recommended yellow color font

  • when running from an aligator u run in zigzags when running from a crocidile u die

  • @DerkaDerz No, you run straight because they can only see at the sides, the bloke at the Everglades told us.

  • @DerkaDerz

The running in zig zag to escape an alligator is as factual as the old " if you touch a baby bird, the mother will abandon it '. Both are old wives tale. Alligators WON'T chase you down like a lion chases a zebra. They simply donnot do that.

  • Steve Irin is dead!

  • Text is very hard to read, I suggest you apply a background to the text, or surround the text with a stroke effect.

  • I never knew we had Croc's in America. Why don't you ever here about them attacking people in South Florida like you here about Alligators all the time?

  • I like crocs more but alligators do have a thicker jaw,

  • nile and auzzie crocs would demolish an aligator the only thign that beats a croc is STEVE ERWIN

  • chuck noris can kill a crocodile he beet madusa in a staring contest

  • Thank you; this was just the information I was looking for. :) If I could make a suggestion, it was very difficult to read some of the text; it might be helpful to use a bolder, more "block style" font and color the text a more distinctly contrasting color ( in this case, yellow or white might have worked nicely in some areas). As it was I had to pause the video several times to make out all the words. But great job on the information!

  • nice work. only that i'd recommend the letters be more clear to read.

  • Comment removed

  • crocs will win

  • alligator vs crocs

    crocs would def win

  • Accuataly depends on the species of croc. A saltie would destroy an American alligator

  • But an American Croc vs. a American Alligator, it could go either way.

The croc is more aggressive but a 10 foot gator outweighs a 10 foot croc by up to 300lbs, and most of that is muscle

  • i like alligators better.

  • alligators are pussy compare to nile crocs

  • you don't know shit about crcodiles and alligators saltys can well grow 23 feet

  • a full grown salty would easily kill an american gator.

  • if a crocodile and alligator fight crocodile would win because it has a stronger bite force bigger heavier and something else hehe

  • I thought alligators had the stronger bite force? Because alligators eat things like turtles..

    Am I wrong?

  • We should have croc fights Australia V USA ..... Australia 1 USA 0 ha ha ha ha

  • can they crossbread

  • No they cant their genes are too different now

  • The US has very few Crocs, MOstly Aligators. The 'American" Crocdile lives from central Mexico south through central America down to Venezuela. Fewer than 1,000 still exist in south Florida and all of those are in a costal area, Brackish to salt water

  • he has it backwards

  • very objective, how do the american crocs compare to those found here in Aus? (and i mean the salt water ones, the fresh water crocs are lil softies)

  • that was quite informative

    cheers mate

  • Wait, correct me if im wrong, I thought american alligators got to about 15-16ft. and the american crocodile got to around the same length, but they are lighter built. You must be thinking of the saltwater crocodile.

  • the green font is very hard to read

  • Yes, it is!

  • lol exspecialy when your colour blinde like me

  • i live in SW florida and there are alligators and crocodiles and they cohabitate in the same areas.
