If you're talking about the opening riff, it's on bass; there's a number of ways you can get this sound. one is turning all the mids completely out on an amp, and the highs and lows all the way up. if its an amp with distortion settings, it is most likely at a low gain, but high volume level. the recording sounds like it was done with a mic very close to the amp too. radiohead records very garage-band style a lot of the time, and in dry space, which kills resonance, and gives that snappy sound

"DISC TWO" was their B-side disc. It came with their 'discbox' that could be purchased from their website. It has all the songs on it that got cut from 'In Rainbows', like "Down is the New Up", "Bangers n' Mash", "Go Slowly", etc...
