Nice tutorial but when I do it Flash always says: "Shape is too complex" and that I have to convert it to a symbol. If I do, I can't do anything with bone but it doesn't matter which shape I create it's always too complex :/

I had a quick question: I'm animating a walking scene, based off of the walking animation tutorial on this guy's channel. I get to the part where I convert the armatures into frame by frame animation. They convert to different keyframes, but they are all blank keyframes save for the first frame. Does anyone have any advice? I'm using CS5.

I drew a guy just like you said in a tutorial of yours, everything is on a different layer such as the nose,head,body etc. I have tried to apply the bone tool and it does NOT work. I also found if i drew two rectangles of different colours (one representing foliage, the other the trunk) and try drawing two bones as we see here, i get two different armature layers appearing.

I found when i tried copying the steps, i wasn't sure if the foliage and the trunk were separate symbols, or just part of a drawing. Weird things happened with boning if they are separate symbols (coordinating the timeline is hard)

Then i tried bounce and i could not for the life of me get the first pose copied and pasted onto the last frame. The bone would show up red?

Question about flash cs5, is there any way to turn off auto smooth .when doing line drawings? Every time I have a nice line auto smooth goes and F**ks it up. One moore thing is there a way to smooth your line manually? Please answer quickly(not to be rude) as I only have the trial version.

Select the brush tool and over in the properties tab there should be a smoothing and a number. By default its at 50 you can move it down to 0 for no smoothing.

brush tool just click and hold the size button and diff options come up, or you can always use the help feature in flash.... to have an exact search put it in quotes as so "brush size"

Hello, I am trying out bone tool, but it seems to have some serious issues,when you save and reopen your project some of the armatures seem to become attached to wrong(witch can be fixed by dragging it around) OR same shape(witch can't be fixed and you basically have to redo the whole armature from scratch), further more, it seems to screw up ALL your fla files, meaning all projects, witch uses particular symbol. I found out that this is a quite common bug. Anyone knows how to avoid it?
