The official report, NOT the Huffington report, discloses Obama gave the Navy the green light to rescue, upon that ok the Naval Commander ordered the snipers to kill. Obama never ordered the kill - just for the Navy to attempt a rescue.

This lack of strength to make an easy call was revealed today in his news conf. when he passed responsibility to the "international community".

America needs a leader that is not afraid to say "mess with the USA and you die". That is NOT the Obama policy.

It is unknown at this point whether the shooters were SEALs or Marine Scout Snipers as both would have been available. This was not a rescue attempt ordered by National Command Authority i.e. the President. It was a reaction by the on scene commander under standard authority to safeguard the life of a hostage.

The AP is reporting that President Obama gave the order to use military force to rescue the hostage, that is misleading.

It was handled well by the Navy - and Obama had nothing to do with it - except - interfering by sending in the FBI, which just wasted 5 days.
