I fuckin love the autotune live. It's fuckin amazing. IMHO they don't sound as good without it. It's just my opinion though. And you can say they sound better without it and that's fine that's your opinion and this is mine. Don't mean to be on the offensive, but everyone flips shit when I say something in my opinion and they disagree. That is all.

they are using auto tune as an affect to there sound... nothing else. most people do it adds a cool sound to the music thats all it is.

@joystickhappy Maybe you should just look into pop - not at all heavy, but a FUCK LOAD of autotuning. I'm sure you can find an autotuned artist there. And i am not saying this to insult pop lovers. Honestly, at least 90% of pop is autotuned, so if autotuning is your thing, search in the pop section.

@Penguingodzilla I actually already do, but I still love hearing autotuning in some screamo too :3 I love all sorts of music. We all have our own preferences, and I don't hate people who don't like what I like, but I think they sound good with it. Some bands are good without it, and some I like with it, it's just a personal preference. :3

@XtinaMarie16 I'm pretty sure people listen to them for the autotune. I know I do. It sets them apart from other metalcores. If i wanted to listen to another band without autotune, I'd listen to We Came as Romans or the Devil Wears Prada, etc.

Autotune has gotten a bad rep from the abuse of bad singers, but it does have its uses.

abandon all ships don't uses autotune becaus martin can't sing they use it becaus autotune belongs to elektronic-hardcore! the same as: you don't hear a guitar with clean sound in deathcore.

For everyone that continuously complains about AUTOTINE, you do realize that it only ASSISTS your voice to a certain degree... For example, If your off key it sounds absolutely terrible and if your on key it simply enhances your voice. Its really not as big of a deal as some of you guys put it.

@electromatic9211 Wrong you are. I'm not complaining about it because this band admits to using autotune. It's suits the techno influence that is incorporated in their music. To correct you, autotune does the exact opposite of what you said. It corrects your mistakes so you can have a pitch perfect performance. Only when you crank it (like AAS does) does it give off the robot effect.

Believe me, I'm a bit of a vocalist myself and i have experimented with my personal vocoder and it won't allow an individual to hit any note they desire. However if an individual stays in an octave they are comfortable and familiar with it will allow them to be near flawless.
