This is a game for patient people, not just running around shooting shit.

@PlasmuhBeam if u dont care about the graphic fallout 1 and 2 can be realy funny...what u see here is a bit strange cause he has realy no chance in close combat. good endgame stratagy ..pain in the a* early game ^^.. (early means..until u got the right weapon...what can be difficult if u play the first time and / or without guide :)

fallout 3 and new vegas are good too but ..different ..its not the same feeling

Play this game on hard and with patch 1.2. You get the full game how its ment to be. All skills work as they should and its challanging but very fun :)

@Sunjata0 The weapons skills or 'points' are fairer meaning having 100 point in small guns means you wont hit as often adds a better balance to the game. Also you have to specialize in a certain area and stick to it. you cant be an everyman as you need invest more of your points into skills then you would normally. I played fallout 2 through and through but playing it on hard the game has a totally different 'feel

@Sunjata0 Hmm lets see. As im sure you know no-mutants-allowed~(.com) has all the decent mods. I use the NPC armour mod. Friendly Klint ( you get the Temple of Trials guard as a NPC) which is fun. Mega Mod Ill install after my next challenge of playing the game on hard using Melee weapons only.

Playing it through this time I gave Sulik a sharp spear and im level 15 now and he's still kicking out 20dps a hit and critting like a mofo :P

hi, i used to play this when i was younger, but forgot how to play atogether now lol, when theres enemies on the screen, do you have to fight them? or is there a way to run away? because it goes into combat mode, then when you try run away it uses AP, but is there any other way of running away, like cancelling combat mode? hope that makes sense

@CylusFox04 Fallout 3 isn't a true Fallout game. It's not BAD for what it is, but everything that made the first two fallouts epic was lost in translation to the Gamebryo engine. Plus Bethesda has been getting quite lazy and complacent with sub-par games over time. Oblivion was clearly geared towards console players, and Fallout 3 even more so. Bugs galore in all versions regardless.

New Vegas also seems like it'll botch something. NCR wasn't evil at all, yet the trailer seems otherwise.

I get kind of annoyed with sub-par graphics, but I enjoy Fallout 2's graphics because for their time they were very good. Remember, 1998 didn't have much in terms of graphical power, which lent itself to the style and type of graphics Fallout 2 used.
