is the sausage meat the same as regular minced meat? actually we make very similar product which we call cutlets (I know, these are different things in UK). just minced meat ( i mince it myself as in shops they put all meat leftovers to it), a lots of chopped onion, a bit of chopped dill and parsley and some raw eggs beaten in and then prepare as you prepared your sausages. very tasty! some people add breadcrumbs also, but i avoid any wheat (health is our first priority), and we avoid also soy.
Did anyone in Britain take up snail farming during WWII ? Or frog farming? Like your nearby French neighbours? Did anyone consider breeding rats for food? I know some types of rats are eaten and cooked in Asia. Are hamsters--we don't have them in Australia--edible like the Guinea pigs people keep as pets and for food?
