some how open the telephone were numbers are written...now enter *#7370#...do it nd it aslo hapenned to ma mobile.

@cikai90 the firmware wont go away. it only resets phone settings, and other setting, and phone memory formatting, my firmware remained the same. i think thats because the firmware and other important setting has some place on the phone memory witch you can' really get o, hidden. luck with your phone ;)

@jordanrocker100 you go to "telephone" the dial numbers, and there *#7370# and the green button or it dose automatically don't remember

whew! i thought my cp is broken coz after pressing *#7370# my phone did not start. then after waiting for 2 min it worked! thanks dude!!

in my new firmware 4v

if i hard reset then will the firmware 4v be deleted ??

@jordanrocker100 it won't be deleted coz it only deletes the phone memorys files and the memory card(if inserted) but the firmware stays...because the firmware has a different memory..

try reinstalling the v40 firm,..

they will just reset your phone (hard/soft reset) thats what i did at home and it worked perfectly. take out the memory card, type in *#7370# and the code is 12345, or hard reset: turn off device, Press and hold the, Green key, Red key + Camera Key and press the On button, and you will loose everything on your phones memory!!! so backup everything and don't forget to take out the memory card so it wont delete something from there too.

for me the private folder is empty :)

It's not empty. It's not visible unless you have a hacked phone. For hacking, you must have a firmware below v40 and you can use HellOX2

one more thing do u know why i cant update my firmware from v30 to v31 or maybe to v40?

That's because the latest firmware was not released to your product code.

You can wait or change your product code to one that has the latest firmware. I must advise you that changing your product code can avoid you phone warranty.

The only alternative way is if you have a hacked phone.  And V40 is Unhackable.

You have, most probably, a corrupted file of the homesreen. This also happened on v31, v30, v21, v20... Solution: Hard Reset (red+green+camera button at start up of the phone or just type *#7370#) but do a backup first as everything will be deleted (contacts, etc)

Or, if you have a "hacked" phone, you can manage do delete the file that is causing that error (probably this one: c:\private\10202BE9\persists\1­0275102.cre )

I forgot to tell that if you delete the file, you must restart the phone after.
