Seriously, I have other fears that definitely wouldn't fit that bill. In fact, after the Fear of Intimacy series, there will be a funny one that's in the bag showing me face my very real fear of COWS. Yeah, that's right...COWS.

Watching you, you are so down to earth.

This project is great because what I want the most to ignore is fears from adolescence that I still don't want to confront.

Wanting to be healthy requires me to dig through my past feelings of inadequacy, not fitting in, not being the cool outgoing successful person.

Fears are like hang-ups from way back.

I absolutely get a lot out of your sincere words.

Yeah, I'm not one to really get stuck in my past, but I like to use it to mine for anything that might help me make better decisions in the here and now.

I like the metaphor of diving. There's a poem called "Diving Into the Wreck" by Adrienne Rich that speaks to this. She takes a knife, a book of myths, and a camera with her. It's highly interpretive as to what those things might be used for....
