its 7 minutes of the same note over and over with some little noises in the background. no harmony, no melody or anything else that would consider this a song. At best it could be called ambient sonic art.... bored. Not a fan of Loscil, clearly.

I took Plume with me on a drive down to the Washington coast through Port Townsend one foggy late summer morning. It was perfect . Incidently, I also really like Steve Roach, Robert Rich, Lustmord et al but that doesn't stop me from reaching for this. Peace.

where have some of the loscil videos gone? like the b/w video of the model airplane flyers and the war torn japan? Does anyone know what songs these are to help with my search
The song with the model airplane flyers is "Cloister". It was an unofficial video, but I really liked it. I believe the user was named "deresolutionized" or something like that, but he closed his account some time ago.
I have a couple of tracks Loscil did before anybody knew about him at all . . . i was a teenager when I got them, maybe . . . 15? I'm 26 now. They were some of the best things he did. One is called "Jawne " . . . i love it. I wish he'd release them.
it's a bitterly cold day i scotland, and this is the perfecr expression of what's going on outside the window... well in an aethetic sort of way. It's not what is actually happening outside the window. Tho those rooftops do look like west coast barrett housing.
I like their music very much, but the video is indeed very insignificant. Its nicely done but, yknow, more context? I dont think that Loscil made this.
I understand what the video is doing, but it's all the same shiznits. This music is amazing!
