Sometimes she resembles the first girl that I've fallen in love .Very beautiful, extremely smart and with those penetrating mysterious eyes.Damn that I was just a fat nerd with 13 years old when I met her.
I loved the part after that, when he walked into her room and paused for a moment, as though to check on her. It looked like he wanted to make sure she was okay after all the drama of the night before.

Amazing scene. Just goes to show that no matter how much Bond and Vesper had in common. She doesn't have the heart to kill like bond does. Amazing scene from an epic film.
@eugenethelamb Nah, Everythign in Casino Royale was awesome. AFTER her is when he turns more cold, so it's okay for him to cry on this one.
Quantum of Solace and the idiotic director ruined james bond, they turned a bond film into a borne film. Quantum should have been directed by the guy that did Casino Royale.
I can't watch this scene without crying, it takes my breath away. If men ever knew how showing their soft side makes them stronger and a hero in our eyes, maybe they'd show it more often. Simply breath taking :)
That's beautiful. Also a reference to MacBeth - "Out, damned spot!" referring to And then Vesper here saying "It's like there's blood on my hands and it won't come off."
love this scene! in my opnion, its the best scene in the entire film. such a tender moment in an otherwise action filled movie. and eva green is spectacular!
eh....some of his one-liners in the movie were pretty good too. the torture scene, or the one where she tells him about his smile and little finger...and then he responds with "that's because you know what i can do with my little finger"
See the most brilliant part of this scene was when he said "Are you cold?"
not only does that scene position his arms so he could put it around her neck , it also gives us the sense that Vesper was feeling cold (as in troubled and worried) , but then Bond comes in and gives her warmth in both senses..... Brilliantly thought of
1 year ago, you wrote that - but I think this particular Bond film is timeless.
This, according to modern Hollywood cinema, is the sort of scene you cut from a movie that is well over 2 hours long.
Thankfully, this make-or-break Bond film stunned everyone with memorable scenes like this. I think they expected to fail and just wanted to go out on a high.
She's physically tiny, which u just don't get from the movie screen.

Nope. Just trying to get the "blood" off her hands. Her guilt in helping a man die.

that is a lovely sentiment. Nice to know something like a defining film moment can really impact you like this. That is what all performers hope for.

This scene ruined James Bond. Crying in the shower like a pussy? Character Assassination.

ARIANABOB 2 years ago 9
I think he's a bit like your typical soldier.
Just because his job involves killing people, doesn't mean there's another part of him that might want to settle down.
Indeed, this film shows how he is willing to give up being an assassin for Vesper.
