The only problems I've seen with this hack are the replacements for Banzai Bill and the Dragon Coin (Or Yoshi Coin or whatever). Reggie looks out of place and stupid, and the llama looks really creepy. I think it would've been cool if each level maker somehow got to do their own sprites, but I don't think that's possible without making a whole bunch of new objects with the same properties as each enemy.

These levels are BEAUTIFUL. And I don't just mean, like, graphically or even the music (though that helps), but their design is so organic and sweet! That cave really felt alive to me and makes me want to play the game even though I never even finished normal SMW...

I agree that the Banzai Bill replacement should have been a one-off joke, though. It was like "haha okay" the first time, but now it's just undermining the beauty.
