  • Ich will " Die frau auf dem planeten und " sehen...

  • Pay attention to the opening segment.

"Your heart will pound...Your Pulse will Throb,

at the dreadful presence of the worlds weirdest visitor the world ever had"

"The man from Planet X..It's closer than you think. It could..and DOES happen before your very eyes"

    What a message being sent.

  • I really like this odd little movie. The atmosphere created by the fog over the countryside is excellent. I watched this a while back on TCM or something, and just recently picked it up on DVD.

  • there like bums on the street with the god signs

  • The Alien Face is flat. NoAffect or Emotion. It doesn't Smile or Frown. Just Plastic is the term I'd use. So clearly not Makeup, nor a Latex. Just a Mask. Even for 1950 they should have put more effort into making it more Realistic than this.Very LowBudget. They spent all the Money on making the Rocket I guess. Nothing left for the LeadCharacter! Now look what they can do even 20 or 30 Years ago with Aliens. Slime dripping from the Double Jawed Fangs! "What is this stuff? Don't touch nothing!"

  • How is it a man if its an alien

  • This ladies and gentleman is how the Earth will end in 2012. WILL BE VISTED BY MIDGETS IN BAD SPACE COSTUMES AND CARDBOARD ROCKETS.....RUN TO THE HILLS!!!

  • This video was removed from internet archive for this reason

this is stranger then the movie itself

  • My brother took me to see this film when it first came out at the Academy cinema Cheltenham Road Bristol. I jumped a mile when I saw the alien for the first time. Shit I thought he was real I had bad dreams for days about spacemen

  • i always thought that aliens are poorly educated and uninspiring...boy, was i misinformed..they are all-poweful all-conquering etc. i want to marry one of them!

  • i got this on dvd and it was one of the best sci-fi films i saw

  • reminds me of some bad dream, and PLEASE don't ask why, but the man's face reminds me of...michal meyers

  • First of the invading spaceman movies! He appeared one more time in, "Loony Toons back in action!"

  • I first saw this in 1972 or 73 late night in Cambridge, Mass. Was great! Is great. Saw it a couple months ago on Turner Classic Movies.

  • Good to know I'm not the only one who was terrified by this. I saw in in the early 90's on VHS, and it scared the be-jesus out of me.

  • scared the living chit out of me on TV about 1955.....lol Great Posts!

  • Thank you for posting!

  • A great example of a low-budget "B" sci-fi movie, made on a shoestring but still entertaining, especially for kids.

  • Scary as hel!!!

  • It scared the hell out of me in a 1950 something rerun on the 7inch rca tv

  • For a 1951 flick this was pretty well done; this clip is of very good quality. Thanks for posting.

  • it's not actually called "planet X". the people from planet x call it "Planet Z".

  • graet scare your grandmouther

  • great music.

  • huh? planet X?

this movie is like a duck dodgers cartoon LOL

  • ...and he wanted 2 do was us our toilet

  • I saw this movie when I was 8 years old and I was terrified. I could barely look at the screen.

Looks fine now that I'm slightly older.;)

  • "All he wanted was to say a friendly hello."

  • One has to admit, the titular alien is pretty cool looking!

  • This is based on a true story.

  • @JackTraven2525 WAIT it is based on a true story how is it

  • @JackTraven2525 based on a true fantasy

  • Produced by...Jack Pollexfen?

  • Does anyone remember the name of the B&W sci-fi movie from the 60s..an ALIEN in a huge circular/above ground oil tank at an oil refinery? Supposedly a synthetic food experiment. The food was processed in the huge oil tank. An investigating guy breached security and slipped into the tank, a pulsating "blob" got all over him. The guy walking down the outer circular tank stairs with his clothes smoking and skin burning, "It burns, the food burns". He dies.

  • Hi stevenjockman, you might be thinking about a 'Quatermass' film, not sure if its 1 or 2, but it sounds like the film you are talking about.

  • Thanks! Great guess. I did notice something that looks like a huge oil tank, plus the weird stuff from space. Same time period too (50s/60s). They may have seen the film I am speaking of and stole some of the ideas. The film I mentioned was produced in the 50s. That makes me over 50. Thanks so much. You should work for the FBI!

  • Quatermas 2 a.k.a. Enemy from Space.

    That is an Awesome movie!!!!

  • and all he wanted was the time

  • I want to see that movie!

  • I love Classic sci-fi.
