  • insane

  • I love grisha's tips. they are very helpful.

  • That is not human.

  • nice, i'd like to see you use that technique while playing a scale upwards instead if a single string.

  • Comment removed

  • and... what about left hand? you move it very faster. any tips?

  • GodDaiaiaaiamn:|

  • ok, very important question. would you still be able to do that with the length of approx 2mm fingernails? i really want to learn tremolo but i dont want to grow out my nails because of sports.

  • what was that chord you played at the beginning its beautiful.

  • what was that chord you played at the beginning its beautiful.

  • Ive seen a Lotta so called Masters or Virtuoso on the Internet. Im very Humbled, This guy really is a true Master in every sense of the word! Thats what musics meant to do - Fill you with a sense of Wonder and AWE! Give you goosebumps from head to toe from the first note! Thank God there are still some of these True Musicians Alive lest we forget how absolutely pathetically fake and Talentless most of our Big Stars really are! Thankyou for being Born!

  • mind blown....

  • I like a lot your practice tips, but the problem is that the volume is very low.

  • @WAOQVNA use head phones

  • Only 2 posibilities..

    1. This video is speeded up..

    2. This man is really holy fucking shit.. the speed is faster than electric guitar picking..

  • @CCSkawaii Only option 2 possible. Watch paco de lucia playing.

  • @CCSkawaii i second the lucia bit. will blow the end of your penis off watching his tremelo

  • @CCSkawaii lol, this is Grisha. He's human, but not really.

  • @CCSkawaii

Of course it's faster. It's flamenco. Electric guitar is kid's play by comparison.

  • are you play apoyado o tirado ??? thanks for you response

  • Amazing! One question, when you talk about the normal way with two fingers, do you mean two fingers and the thumb or really just two fingers? It might seem like a stupid question, but I'm new to this.

  • Hi, I play classical guitar but I really want to learn flamenco guiar but there are no flamenco schools close by and most you tube videos cover advanced flamenco guitar techniques and on a very superficial level. They dont explain the technique in depth, so can you please post some videos on flamenco techniques such as picado, tremolo, golpes alzapuas etc. and just flamenco guitar lessons in general like how you learned. I would really appreciate it and I am serious about learning.

  • I'll never be able to do that.

  • I think I might have lost bowel control

  • hi grisha, please upload a tutorial on alzapua,!

  • fukit he wins

  • that big nail is nasty

  • @ELJoseNova the nail is used as a pick in guitar

  • @ELJoseNova Its a fake nail. Real nails wouldn't last long the he plays.

  • I can't believe. Faster than the speed of light

  • what scale? aaaaaawesome dude :D

  • Will you do any shows in New York?

  • can I play like this without nails? :(

  • @viniciusporracaralho you can but it doesnt sounds as good

  • O_O...

  • thats incredible :O

    Greetings from spain ;)

  • holy shit that was awesome

  • he's a vampire.

  • Wow, the speed and clarity of your playing is AWESOME!!! I've been practicing that for some time, and I'm getting better slowly.

  • i have always watched your clips and thought you have the cleanest IM solo i have ever heard and here u come with lessons..MAN YOU ARE AWESOME , WOW !! I"M A BIG FAN OF YOURS FOR couple of years now

  • In one lesson you teach us to push down on the strings when picking and here you picking up?

  • No, I am still pushing the string.

  • ohh ok. So its exactly the same as the previous lesson on things to remember when playing scales? But the other lessons you only play with 2 fingers? Question I have is, when to use what?

  • It really depends on the number and metric position of the strings crossings. The safest thing to do is to use 2 fingers for normal scales. That's what I am doing. This video is only intended as a coordination exercise.

  • @S1ay3R007 I understand what he's saying, I love that this also would build coordination for Tremolo. That is the technique I absolutely love and want to get sounding perfect. I think what he's saying is normally for simple scales you'd probaby just use I,M, but this exercise helps your practice another way to run the scale as well as build up your tremolo skills. Sounds great. Im working on my ability to picado and tremolo while pushing down on the string. Its tough.

  • thank you so much !

  • Esto si es velocidad, sueño con esa misma velocidad, si vos podes por que yo no.... pronto veras

  • FUCK!!!!!!!!.......still struggling with 3 fingers on the high E

  • PA FACCIA TOIA...E CHE CAZZZZ!!!

  • Thanks

  • what the hell your amazinggg actually insane i want to seee the left hand soo bad :(

  • man i would love to see the left hand in this one.

  • I want that guitar. Who makes it?

  • good lord!

  • oooooooooofffffffffffffff

  • wow who are you show yourself

  • this is Grisha Goryachev

  • are you american >?

  • i'm russian

  • what kind of artificiel nails do youy have?

  • You are my master!

  • like the sound,but tin E

  • Holy shit...

  • @DietSoap3 couldn't have put that better myself

  • So fast! even road runner wouldn't be that fast!

  • been waiting for this one...thanks 4 sharing!

  • Beyond God Like!

  • Man, Grisha is awesome. He's a friendly guy as well. He was happy to meet his audience and socialize after his show. We got to jam with him at the after party. His guitar is very loud. The ruck -style hole makes a big difference. He's a funny guy although he sounds serious. A must see.

  • what is a ruck style hole?

  • the hole cut out on the shoulder of the guitar. The part of the guitar's body closest to a player's ear.

  • What the F***!

  • holy shit man, i bet u make 'the ladies' happy

  • @letmebe1990 ajjajjaajjajaja

  • @letmebe1990 With those longs nails? You bet >.>

  • @letmebe1990 Not with those nails he ain't..

  • shit man... I think I am goin' to kill myself... I am never goin to achieve that

  • llol thats the first reason why you actually wont be able to do this, its all about he preactice, and i mean quality practice

  • I have in fact a good apoyando and I practice very hard but this is not the point, the thing is Grisha is good, very good and he s technique is fantastic

  • Very impressive. Thank you for sharing!

  • WOW {8o

  • ur fingers are like lightning!!

I wish i had a right hand like this..left hand i have no problems bt right hand is impossible.

  • thanks i just cut off my fingers lol

  • me to...haha

  • Does anyone has a suggestion how to CLEAR my tremolo?I have a quick tremolo but it is very 'dirty' at the same time,so i want to 'clean' it.If you have any suggestions please reply. thx

  • train very VERYYY slowly....than get quicker....

  • Great way to practice indeed. What is the name of that guitar?

  • Comment removed

  • yeh man thats good stuff. BBut i don't get this stupid repent people always show after seeing a virtuoso guitarist on youtube. It just inspires me as opposed to making me reflect negatively on my guitar playing.

  • awesome -really great-------

  • i wanna die

  • sti cazzi!!!!!

  • That is very impressive and very inspiring!

  • hes fast makes plectrums look pointless

  • hmmm dont realy think so... when i try to play with finger picking on my e-guitar it feels realy nasty almost as if you're petting an egg cutter ;)

  • lol well there is tht

  • That's because you're practicing on an electric. Classical acoustic is much different when it comes to technique, compared to electric. Classical strings are made of nylon and the heavy strings are typically fibrous in the middle wrapped in a fine silver-plated copper. They're delicate on your hands, where as electric guitars use nickel-plated steel strings. That's why they feel the way you're describing.

  • lawll

  • just --> woow

  • wow

  • can you play fast without of the nails?

  • Good beginners lesson.

  • Good Lord!!

  • damn this very good playng

  • anyonw know what is that chord he upstrokes at the begining? class

  • LOL

  • y la mano izquierda????? como profesor a nadie....

  • I'd love to practice that technique, too bad you'd need tab to know which fingers go where for both hands... hint hint

  • OMG, I think he may be the Devil.

  • i think he trains a lot

  • Monstro!

  • astounding!!

  • where can i find that scale??

  • tienes razón mendigo me desaparesco para ver algo mejor

  • quieres presumir o enseñar????

  • mendigo y con garrote? mejor desaparecete.

  • uhh...Was this a tutorial? or an exibition

  • Very few can play fast with a lot of feel.

You are one of such ppl. Great. I wish I could play like that.

  • basic techniques will help with coordination. if you dont have the foundations with the basic techniques, you will never learn tremolo.

  • Sei davvero grande!!!!!!!!

  • DAAAAYYMM

  • impresive picado

  • woooow realy fast

  • Just thank u for being there Grisha. U are an undispensable personage of contemporary guitar, and plus, sharing with us some of your secrets without a trace of selfishness...

Wish u all the best and happiness...

  • hahaha! i couldnt help but laugh at peoples reaction, tibe2003 especially you! lol im gonna laugh myself to sleep.

  • no shit....i cant learn nothing from that...my eyes hurt now....but then again it does sound flippin cool!

  • then learn the basic things first and stay away from tremolo exercises... obviously premature.

  • premature????? i think my Ex gf told me something like that after sex and then she left me......lol,, maybe i will take both of your advice and stick to the basics for now! Thanks tho!

  • i recomend u to learn from Adam del Monte. Search out this vid here on utube:

"flamenco guitar lesson (Tarantas) by Adam del Monte"

This gives u an idea of the style he teaches, and then go to his webpage and start taking online courses. U get started in minutes. No downlod necesary.

Im doing that and can recomend it to anyone who is interested in Flamenco. He is very good at breaking the techniques down and showing it in details, then slowly building it up!

    cheers.

  • slow down goddamned

  • Grisha has very much talent to reproduce what Paco once created, but he is not better. 4-finger strokes were used by other masters of classical guitar like Yepes and Lagoya for example. Also Yamashita uses additional fingers for fast repetition. But the strokes don't have the same sharpness and volume as normal picado and they cannot be used for all 6 strings. They are limited, but the speed is enormous !

  • i love this .. you are batter then paco.. because paco will never show this to public.. thanks

  • He never said it was tremolo. only picado with tremolo technique

  • holy crap ok now you are just showing off! lol

  • He used (i,m) picado technique.

  • this exercise are great Grisha. do you use this technique when you play entre dos aguas? i guess you dont need it:) but the scale is very fast, thats why i asking.just fun to know

  • great techniq, but unfortunately not explained which scale(s), maybe you can add like a tabb in your comment?

  • B,C#,D#,(E,F#,G,A,G,F#,E)D#(E,G,F#,E).Notes in brackets are on 1st string, all others are on 2nd.

  • you should show your left hand too

  • did you get this technique from GErardo nUnez? I was in his last summer guitar course and he taught this... maybe he got it from someone else...i dunno ..

all I can say is that your technique is ridiculous! (that means awesome! :) )

  • He got this technique from his ear. There is no another way.

  • I feel very fortunate to have see and study your ideas!! THank you!

  • Sir, I salute you.

  • that's easy

  • lol I bet Yngwie wishes he could play that fast.

I'm glad I saw this video because I've been working on this picking style and now I know that I have more work to do!!

  • dude, that's just ridiculous. do you still manage to go outside?

  • This is what Grisha says about the artificial nails he uses, (guitarplayernails)

I can't say how much I appreciate your product. Your nails have a perfect thickness, elasticity and strength. They actually feel like real nails, good ones! And they lend so many possibilities for different sound effects and tone colors! I was expecting a plasticky and dull sound I've heard so many times, but I found none of that.

    Thank you again!

    Sincerely,

    Grisha Goryachev

  • the nails have to be filed very good, something that I have a very hard time achieving. Nail form is also very important. Grisha maybe you could do a video on this subject?

Most of time I have a feeling like my nails encounter substantial resistance when hitting the strings.

Oh ye and the guitar of course, I've got a cheap 150€ classical guitar, I don't think I'm going to get far with it, it's a block to progress.

    what strings do you use?

  • Do you use sandpaper? That's the most important thing for a fast stroke. Having a good nail shape and smooth nails that are buffed like glass with fine sandpaper.

  • HI. I use regular nail files that you get in the store, the stuff that girls use :)

What grade sandpaper would you recommend ?

  • 3m 2000.

    Good luck

  • gracias!!!

  • wow, great technique

  • Great video 5 satrzz i think he is teaching more 1337 guitar players thou!!!!!!!

  • tooooooooooooooooooo fast

  • i dont think so man, dont waste your time teaching us. coz hell we aint gettin no where

  • o yes we do get somewhere as long as we practice enough. and tips like grisha's are very helpfull!

  • CORRECTIOn. "IM" NOT GETTING ANYWHERE

  • practice more!

  • You have a great skill, but in my opinion your teaching illustration lacks the simplicity to help any beginners.

Remember advanced guitarists don´t scout youtube for guitar lessons, the ones who do are beginners with no idea whatsoever of what to do to develope their skill. Your teaching should be geared to such people.

Make it simple and easy enough to see with different angle view of the fingering.Thank you.

  • "Remember advanced guitarists don´t scout youtube for guitar lessons"

I don´t think so AT ALL!

Beginners find enough lessons here on youtube. But there is very little stuff like this for advanced players. I´d love to find more lessons like these three of Grisha G. !!

  • Any tabs or left hand fingering?

  • Yes it is Grisha thats his accent and i know the structure of his fingers.

  • LOLLLLL how is that even possible, this guy is like the fastest in the world.....

  • no homes, this can't be him. looks like somebody put a cam into a belt buckle and recording his lesson to share this sacred technique with the WORLD.

  • lol! it's grisha giving the lesson and you don't think he posted it?

  • thank you very much for that

  • this guy can't be a human...incredible!!!

  • Paco de Lucía is a guitar god here, in Spain. I'm glad to see that is knowed out of here.

Very nice videos, I like very much your NiN's version with fuzzed piano too ;D

  • Hello Grigory. I have a question, is with this technique that you played the fly of the bumbeel bee on the other viedo? or what technique did you used? Thank you very much.

    saludes desde Colombia....

  • amazing as always Grisha. Are you a Doctor yet?

  • You missed a note!!! Just kidding.

  • merci grisha pour ca

  • Thanks for sharing i know this will be very useful in the near future as im excelling in guitar. I hope you reach the fame you deserve man.

  • Very nice Grisha, what guitar are you using?
