@csvictory12 it's very easy!, hit the MENU button, look for the INTERVALREC mode, and select ON, there you select the time betwen frames (my clip was 1 second), hit SELECT and REC. when your done hit REC again.
I let my camera recording for about 40 minutes to get a minute and a half clip.

I always use the one that looks like an 8 on its side, I think that means unspecified time, you can stop it anytime you want
you can use any of them, for example if you select: 1 second- 24 hr
is gonna capture 1 frame every second for a period of 24 hrs.
remember that you need 24 frames to get 1 second of video;
so if you want a 1 minute long video you need to leave the camera shooting for 24 minutes.
for 2 minutes you need 48 minutes of shooting and so on.
