    ehehehhe...fantastic!!!:-)

    compliments

    depeche mode the best!!!

  • sort of.

  • wow nice job .......dead on it...

  • is it a game?

  • As a massive fan of Depeche Mode and a bit of a tinkerer when it comes to the DS-10, I'd like to stand up and salute sir. You honestly brought a wicked grin to my chops. Cheers.

  • great job! i have this game but i can't figure out how to do anything haha

  • watch XSeed's videos, they have 8 video lessons on the basic ideas and techniques of designing your own sounds.

  • Sorry to disagree. I bought the cartridge... well... the sound is really good, of course. But really complex arrangements are nearly impossible with only 16 pattern and 4 drum slots. Or maybe I haven't found out the full potential of the program yet. :)

  • Very nice. The DS-10 seems to be "Rebirth" for the handheld console-

  • Great job man! I've made Yazoo Don't Go in song mode. Great Korg DS-10

  • i've posted it now finally, just check my channel. :-)

  • This sounds great, excellent job!! Photographic is such a great electronic tune, what software are you using on the nintendo?

  • you are very good at that! do you have a musical background? or are you naturally intuitive about music? I love korg ds 10!

  • if i could get hold of the settings to re-produce this then, well that would be good.

    is there a way ?

  • brill, very clever . nice

    look forward to more..

  • Great job man! KORG DS is awesome, I'll be getting mine soon

  • shame you talked all the through it!

  • not realy

  • I take it from the part where you have 3 different parts going that it's fairly easy to program the two oscillators to play different parts (or did you have to record parameter midi data for the osc 2 pitch on one of them?)

  • the third part is actually one of the drum sounds repurposed to play part of the melody.

  • oh yeah i've also been wondering about that... is it the bass part? looks like it would be easiest to program the pitch changes in if you had a one octave arp going

  • the sequencing and editing of the patterns and sounds on each of the drum tracks is the same as the two "music" tracks. it's essentially four extra synths tucked away under the drum editing menu.

  • Might be a stupid question, but can you make chords in DS10?

  • Not on a single Oscilator. They are monophonic. The DS-10 has 2 Oscillators for the "melody" and 4 for the drums. However, you can use the 4 drum-oscillators for melody as well. (But without Keyboard or Kaoss-Pad play)

So theoretically you could have a 6 voices chord but no other sound at the same time. You could also fiddle around with the delay to layer the notes.

  • i could be mistaken but i think there are 4 oscillators for melodic patterns, two on each instrument channel

  • technically 6 - two melodic full synths, and then each of the four drum sounds can be edited and patched and sequenced individually - if you are making a song with a simple bass/snare drum pattern though you would only have four "spare" synths with which to build your melody and harmony etc.

  • So you're saying the rhythm synths are two-oscillator just like the melody synths right?

  • getting mine on friday's release day here in UK

  • Wow! nicely done! i luv this song so much!

    u are amazing

    5/5!!!

  • i have two songs posted, one a remix of real song. I agree the software is awesome, can be powerful if used right
