the only thing i didn't like about these games. they make nords seem like peasants.. and damn OP sarranid. thats what happens when the company are turks. but still a great game though. =3

would you guys say this game is worth getting? cus i downloaded the demo and the start seemed a bit annoying with struggling to get money, getting a strong party and then lessing it to bandits after like 2 or 3 battles which was kinda annoyin, it looks more fun later on from the videos i've seen tho but still any feedback would be nice to hear, thanks.

@TheAshy14 I would say YES! Sure the begining is a little rough but once you get 30+ troops that are higher levels you will be able to start the diplomatic portions of the game. If your still not 100% sure on buying this game i suggest waiting until a good steam sale and getting the game for $5-$10 :D P.S. Warband is by far the best

@hulk0hulk Well you talk at one of your heroes(Lezalit,Rolf etc)and ask him if he knows that you want to become a king.Then i think he goes to find supporters.Also if you have high persuasion and a good relation with most other nobles,you can easily convince them to follow you.So yeah when you win a fight against someone its best to let the enemy lord free,because that way you increase your relation with him.

I have taking over kingdom of swadia and the kerghits. I have reinforced plateamrour, lordly winged helmet, boots and gaunlets. balanced great sword. so fuck that shit!

234 game days in, king with 6 vassals, i own praven, 5 villages and a castle. and only cheated myself 2k earlier in the game cause i was a little off being able to afford reinforced lallemar armour *my fave <3*... Then again i wont last long cause swadia with total troops of about 1200 to my 500-600 have made peace witht he nords and rhodocks and are going for me.... only 172 garrison in praven... most are merc cavalry and hired blades so its worth about 300 garrison of recruits/millitia but....

@TheSweenyToad Yes.In the start the game is hard like hell.But once you become a vassal of a king(depends on ur choice of beiing a king or just a vassal)it'll be easier.

@DAH1VULTAR For sieges, heavy infantry will turn the tides, in mountain areas they win, but in straights, there strong against archers and light infantry and heavy infantry, weak against cavalry units.

Becoming king is very hard. I have a character for two weeks now, I crushed every kingdom with Swadia, I was marshal five times. My renown is so high that I can be easily king in my opinion. I have every each companion around Caladria, still I can't get rid of King Harlaus. My companions always on route to spread the world of me becoming king and each vassal of Swadia supports me except one or two who hates me so much :D. I have no idea what did I wrong not to became a king...
