I just bought one of these...works great...however, I don't think mine goes 40, and I noticed right about when the fuel runs out, the truck goes like on turbo mode for 2-3 seconds then dies...out of fuel.

What is the usual pick up the truck should have, I mean it goes but not as I've seen some on line trucks go.

ok so i just got a cellerator nt from a freind thats had it for ike 4 years and ive started it and it runs but i recently bought a 90 doller kit for a surestart gun but i hate it cause its so anoying and hasnt started since should i switch back to a original pullstart?

Im a big pull start fan. I would. Its kinda full proof ya know? Un less you have a bad oneway bearing in your pull start.

i was wondering how could i get the brakes fixed cuz mine when i press the brake on the remote it doesnt stop it just goes to neutral, but when i release the break it keeps going with out me squeesing the gas so what could i do

Well that could be several things that you need to check. If it revs when you release the trigger on the remote, then your throttle linkage needs adjusted or your servos and remote need to be calibrated. If it keeps going but is just trying to pull at idle, then your clutch pads and spring need to be replaced. Sounds to me like the clutch pads and spring. Mine did that too. Those parts can be purchased from hobbypeople (link in the description of my how to prime vid) for really cheap.

thanks it was actually the servo that needed adjusting, but now i have another question my car turns off after i turn it on what coul that be? I check the fuel and its full, i turn it on then a few seconds later it turns off? thans for your time.

Turn down your throttle trim on the remote, or turn down your idle with the small screw on the carburator. (not the HSN or the LSN its a third screw.) But try turning your throttle trim down first.

to start tuning... turn the mixture screw clockwise all the way until it dosnt turn anymore....then turn it counterclockwise three turns.... also turn your idle screw all the way clockwise until it dosnt turn anymore then turn it counterclockwise two or three turns it should then start...once you start it your probably going to have to turn down the idle screw in the video he talks nothing about that....Video guy make one adressing the screws this is the key element to the whole car...

after three pull strings and 200 pulls a finally got it started...i took it too a hobby shop they tuned it got it home and nothing...

you probably over primed it and flooded the engine. if it seems to hard to pull then take out the glow plug, put the car upside down and pull the cord a few times to let the extra fuel out.

Its not real dirty. I have a pre-filter over the white sponge filter to catch a majority of the dirt before it gets to the white sponge filter! All I have to do most of the time is pull off the pre-filter and wash it in warm soapy water, then re-oil it and put it back on the car.

Im not sure how fast they run at top end. I can tell you that this truck is plenty fast. It is race ready by only popping a .12 engine in it. Mine runs at over 40mph with the .18 engine. I haven't clocked it with my new SH .12 yet.

thank you for this video, but a few questions, one my xtm nitro xc wont start. i dont think the glow plug is in all the way but it is tight. and should i remove the ziptie that is around the air filter holding it to the carb, because the manuel says to check if the carb valve is opening correctly and to adjust it u have to open the carb barrel completely then adjust.

glow plug not in all the way? is it cross threaded? is it a long plug that might be hitting the piston? the plug should go in all the way and it should always have a washer on it when you put it in the head. As far as the zip tie...

it is ok to take it off but dont leave it off or the air filter will fall off easily and the engine will suck in dirt and destroy itself. I took off the original zip tie and put one on but made it tight enough that it holds onto the carb good but not so tight that i cannot pull the intake off.

You dont have to have the air filter off to adjust the LSN. Set you HSN at 3 turns out from all the way in and set your LSN out 2.5 turns from all the way in. if you primed it good then it should start right up. Then you will need to lean out the settings from there once the engine is up to operating temp.

all you do is remove the 4 screws that hold the cover down on the box mounted at the very rear of the truck and there is a 4xAA battery holder in there that you put the batteries in.

it uses 4 x AA batteries. they fit in the little box at the back of the truck behind the rear shock tower.  I got mine for 127.15 off of ebay. You can get them at hobbypeople dot net for 219.99

The tires are pretty easy to mount really...they are pretty soft and stretchy so you just have the foam in them before sliding the tire over the rim. just work the tire onto the rim completely then line the bead of the tire up on each side into the grove on the rim and work some super glue or CA glue into the bead! to wee all my videos just click on my name at the top!

it all depends on the parts. tires, rims, a-arms, and bodies are all losi compatible. other parts like gears may be "losi" or "team associated" compatible. Shocks.....well just about any shock with the same amount of travel can be put on the car as long as they mount in the same fashion. Exhaust is one part that can be used from many vendors. I dont know what you mean by clear case?! do you mean the body? losi bodies will fit it.

i just baught my x-cellerator. i didnt follow the break in as the manual stated. im new to Nitro and have been electric for awhile. my problem is Tuning how do you know its tuned right and it sounds good. do you have any needle recomendations? this is not for the break in just for running now.

well.....hopefully your engine is ok. The tuning on everyones is gonna be different because altitude, temp, humidity, barometric pressure....many things have an effect on the tuning. mine is set to about 1.5 on the lsn and about 2 on the hsn. But...that may not work for your engine and could burn it up or be too rich. Please see the "nitro engine tuning" videos on youtube. They will help you get the tunning ballpark.

Turn HSN C-CW 3 turns from all the way in. With engine off, open throttle completely and turn LSN in all the way then C-CW to 2-1/2 turns...let go of throttle now. Prime and start engine. For break in follow the factory manual. Do 3 minute sessions using no more than half throttle, then let the truck cool for 10 minutes. lean out (CW) the HSN by 1/8th turns. Repeat these steps 15 times.
