@GRANTEDREPENTANCE The cooking shows in the U.S. are clean and the adverts about detergent or another cooking show. In case you weren't aware, this video of Dr. Lutzer IS U.S. television - just a different forum. Also, in the U.S., it is unkind to demean a gift given. If one has no use for or doesn't like the gift, the person is simply thanked and the gift placed in a closet. I'm happy for you that you've progressed so very far in your walk. Grace & Peace.

You are not alone. My wife and I limit ourselves to a few channels on TV and spend time at the library checking out wholesome videos. We enjoy cooking shows too! Rejoice in the Lord always.

@walksbyf8h Most "Christian Movies" are not really Christian at all. Why watch them when you have the Lord God to talk to and hear from directly? We are to redeem the time - not waste it. There are way too many things that the child of God has already neglected (i.e. more prayer, more testimony to others, more bible study, more charity, more departure from sin, etc...). It is time for the sheep to have an uprising and grow up and grow out of this world's patterns of life!

The world invented movies to dumb us down into numbness of mind. It is part of the evil one's plan. Wake up! The Word tells us to make judgments about what is good. The bible is full of instructions on this. Read it. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 1 Cor. 5:12
