if you are having problems reading, moving a book back away from you to the point it converges and viewing it off at different angles instead of keeping it in one place may strengthen your muscles in your eyes, your eyes are not used to fixing in one place. if your vision is double far away have your doctor check to see how far apart your eyes are either way they are migrating. if you have blurry vision in my opinion its a curvature, cataract problem if you have double its a muscle problem.
depends.... you can try if she's got to much minus in her glasses (accommodation trias). In that case, try a cycloplegic refraction. If not... surgery could be the answer cosmetic. Doesn't need to cure te problem of esotropia, but it is possible.
@davitto1990 if your forced to wear an eyepatch you can retain 180 degree field of vision if your having problems with close up double vision, by simply halfing the eyepiece and placing the eyepiece in 50% of the center of either eye. one of your eyes will see around the eyepatch causing it to be opaque and see through. the inside of your left eye muscle by pushing in to the left will cause your eyes to properly align if you have close up double vision.
if your having problems with farsighted double vision, putting very light pressure on both sides of your eyes should clear up farsighted diplopia. your eyes are migrating apart and see about two centemeters apart when clearly seeing. you use the inside area of your eyes to focus close up object. if you completely cover 50% of the inside of your eyes with an eyepatch you will completely loose the ability to see stereograms. you can experiment with placing 50% eyepatches depending on the lean.

highly unlikely..unless it is caused by an inflammation in the eye..in that case you should seek treatment for the inflammation
