So sad, Jason cannot perform on Idol this wednesday due to time restraints. We cannot buy his song on itunes either. I hope Idol lets him sing sometime in the future. I am just so sad about it!

if you can play guitar, sing, write music..that makes you a musician. Plus he can play drums. Multi instrument musician. He has been making music for years though mostly as a drummer, now singer/songwriter.With the exception of few...i.e. Chris Daughtry, Cook, and Castro, 99% of the "idols" are just singers...not musicians. You may not hate Castro...but that doesn't mean your not a hater..your starting to sound like a bitter old guitar player that never made it...support all music!

Garza is good stuff, like his d'yer mak'r (sp?) remake. Great voice, haven't heard love uncompromised but I'll check it out. Have to disagree about umknowns though, you wouldn't believe the talent out there.

My point.....all I've heard is how Jason is "anti-industry" when it comes to music and he's oh-so "alternative" but in reality his stuff is just more pop-music-mill-heard-it-all-before-mush. It's not cutting-edge like some say and his voice is just OK, there's so much better and more deserving singers who should be heard. Jason will probably put out a few halfway decent CD'S but they'll all soun the same. YAWN!!!
I don't think Jason wants to be "edgy." He prefers to soothe rather than ruffle. Some prefer to be calmed by music rather than stimulated. To each his own in this world. What may put you to sleep is probably medicine to the stressed and weary soul.
Where did you get the idea that Jason was anti-industry? Not from Jason. This a quote from Jason: "I have a simple goal, and that is to create songs that grab you by the soul and make you feel! songs that inspire! songs that give joy! songs that make you DREAM!" Jason just wants to make people to feel the music and the songs that he writes and sings. He never claimed to be cutting edge. OK antonio, don't get all upset now.I will say you're one of the few. He's no Daughtry..........THAT guy has REAL talent. Can sing "soft" or rock out.

haha im not upset...everyone has their opinion...and Daughtry has an amazing voice..shocking he didnt win his year..but i guess he is winning where it counts...Castro is good shit too...im convinced he is going to write some amazing songs with some more experience...and then i can sing the songs to some lady friends..hahah.

I love Jas' music. Idol can no longer hold him back. He's a great entertainer and great guy. He loves his fans and thanks them every change he gets. I can't wait to see him in Garland on dec 13, and I can't wait to meet his other fans.

I have to agree and think this would be a really good first single!! This is my favorite! Hearing him on the idol tour and then in Tulsa at Flytrap Music Hall ..loved Flytrap so much more..intimate setting!
