this song is a perfect example how they were so much faster, heavier and intense live..

Thanks for this underwraps2.
Can anyone remember who the support artist was? It was billed, I believe, as Leo Kottke the US acoustic guitarist but he may have been replaced?

What's the first song at the start of the video? I can't get enough of it!

@bobfree66
It's called 'to cry you a song' off of thier 1970 ablum 'Benefit.'
I would perfer the live one from mid-70s (75-77) personaly beacuse it is condesed to a better time AND is a medly with a new day yesterday (likein this 8mm cliip).
Thanks! UW2

Hmmm.
It's so rare to see any home 8mm footage coming out of the U.K.
Nick has done it again.

Yes Paul,
Its pretty rare getting anything from these days.
I like the medly they did from late 1975-1977 of Cry You A Song/A New Day Yesterday.
I guess getting footage of it is quite rare too considering they only did for a small amount of time.
Do you have a copy of the Manchester, UK SOUNDBOARD recording from 1977?
I used it for this video, I think it was just recently uncovered as well.
I could make you a copy if you'd like.
Thanks for watching, Paul! UW2
