*****HOW TO GROW***** After germinating and the root is sticking out of the seed, you water a bucket of soil then make a hole in a pot about as deep as a seed. when u plant the SEED you make sure its sticking OUT OF THE GROUND with the ROOT IN THE GROUND (DONT DAMAGE THE ROOT!) the seed must be sticking out of the ground, do not burry it.( thats where the leaves come out of) do this with the light on! i have 7 baby white rhino's in my grow-room. XD

Im growing weed for the first time, my plants stem is kinda a purple/redish tint and the stem and first set of leaves have fine white hairs (looks like trichomes) all over it.

@MrAlphastyle the stem, you don't want a long weak stem you want a strong hearty stem that will support lots of buds, lower your light and you want to have a fan that moves the plants a bit so that the stem strengthens, after all your goal should be to recreate natural conditions

I just germinated 10 seeds and they just sprouted. One of them had 3 pods, so I thought it was just something else sprouting from the soil because it does happen.

Well this morning I noticed 3 little leaves and yes it's a mutated marijuana seedling.

I am going to post a small vid when the leaves are good enough to see on my shitty webcam. It's looking on the yellow side however. the others are just fine, anybody know anything about this mutant?

@sir240s you need air flow to strenghtin the stem, and your lights need to be as close the plant as possible. You can research light distance, but everybody says differn't. My thinking is to hold your hand under the light until it dosn't burn distance wise. To your question, sounds like you have a normal plant and many leaves will come

yes those are the cotyledons. they'll later fall off when there isnt any use for them. as in all there nutrients are sucked out of them. thats when you need to give them water for a couple weeks then SLOWLY start using the nutes they need.

Those thinner leafs are indictive of sativa.

Indica leafs are broad and fat, shorter.
