I have to say I find this video quite boring because any woman worth their salt shouldn't have a problem paying for a McD's or paying half the bill. Actually, she's right. In dating and etiquette any man with manners knows that while you are courting a woman you are supposed to pay. They were only their second date. If they were in a long term relationship then I could understand it being a 50/50 thing. There's nothing wrong with her paying for the McDonalds if she's the one who wanted it and she offered to pay. On a first date and the two people aren't even in a relationship yet and just "dating" the chivalrous thing to do is for the MAN to pay for everything on the date. He wanted the McDonalds and she didn't. Ergo, she shouldn't have to pay for food that he wanted. And furthermore she shouldn't have to pay for anything anyway because they were on their first date.

I am kinda old-school too, so I think a guy should pay, but nowadays women wanna show that they are independent, so splitting could be ok too. In general.
What makes me think, that he should pay for the McDonald's is that he was the one suggesting it - I mean he cannot - after he placed the order - suddently say, that you should pay.
I am always trying to see things from both sides, and in asking you to pay, maybe he was (maybe not in the most elegant way) trying to see, if you liked him.

Men have totally lost all aspects of the role they supposed to play when dating. I would never date or get in a relationship with a CHEAP man. That is so embarrasing if a guy ask you to pay AT THE REGISTER. Women are starting to teach their sons to only pay their half which is complete ignorance.
