Simply, go to plug in ur iphone to mac, then canel synch immiderly on ur iphone, then go click ur iphone on itunes, then click apps, then simply, click away synch apps

i have appsync, and now if i remove an app from my iphone (installous app)

i can get it back by syncing with itunes, which i couldnt when i didnt have it. (it said i cant sync them or something. so it works 100%.

but if i add the apps to itunes with appsync, can i still get them back by syncing if i remove the jailbreak? or do you need appsync to get them back too?

another question.... if i upgrade my iphone to latest software (4.0) will i still have my cracked apps on my iphone?

Side Note- I have an Ipod Touch 3G so it is tethered (cannot turn it off). This irritated me alot so i just wrote up a list of good apps, jailbroke my ipod and downloaded a heap of games off appul0s within a few days. This has probably saved me a good £50-£75! I downloaded around 5G worth of games (which is quite alot!). Also remember alot of these titles are normally around £3 each sometimes. (terminator, brothers in arms, free honor points for world war..)

aptbackup is a freakin joke, EVERYBODY says it does not work, I haven't tried it but plenty of people say it doesn't work.

pkgbackup was supposed to be be better but it sucks ass too, I tried to restore with it yesterday and it didn't work so I spent a few hours reinstalling all my stuff.

First upgrade to 3.0. Then jailbreak it and restore it in itunes from backup. Then open cydia and get aptbackup. then hit the restore button! i would warn you that some applications from 2.2.1 may not work on 3.0, so that can be a risk. good luck

after my restore my apps memory/progress stayed the same. I just backed up my ipod when itunes automatically does that when i connected. then i restored from backup with itunes, everything, and i mean all apps had my memory saved. i hope thats what ur looking for, cuz otherwise im not really sure

this is only for the cydia/jailbroken apps. for the appstore apps, you just need to sync with itunes. for specific ones (if u dont sync all ur apps) just backup with itunes and then restore from backup. it'll be the same thing. Both this video's backup and itunes backup will get rid of its memory but an app in cydia will save ur progress in the appstore apps. its called AppBackup. ive never tried it but supposedly it should work. let me know how it turns out.
