@antinatalism1 I'm not quite sure how it can be slander when I'm only citing a philosopher's aphorism and not even targeting anybody in particular.
"I also think there are SOME people who have not suffered and therefor do not care." I agree, but I don't like the idea of grouping everybody in the ignorant/unaware camp if they don't devote their lives to activism. This seems to be a ready-made insult for antinatalists to throw around when they're irritated. "I wish you get cancer and understand!"
I may have traversed no hell but I know people who have. Setting fire to the side of one's face as a way of distracting oneself from one's mental agony is something I don't need to experience personally to know that life can reach horrors that I can't truly comprehend.
@DerivedEnergy I understand. I'm just a trouble-maker. But the kind of suffering that is being talked about is always this external misfortune type. What of the person with a troubled soul? Why underestimate the kind of suffering that comes from an existential crisis, for example? How about a life-long existential crisis? The kind of psychological, and even _spiritual_ conflicts and distress we can experience seem to not concern the new antinatalists much.
@DerivedEnergy (cont.) to the point of (arrogantly!) claiming that one cannot see the suffering, hasn't experienced *the* suffering--as if only *that kind* was real--simply because he hasn't been raped (for example) seems like preposterous non-sense considering that suffering is much larger than that.

I wish I made better use of my French. I read in English three fourths of the time! Where would you start if you did?

I wish I could speak French like you. Handy.
