This must not have been 2006, because I was in the Class of 2006, and it rained and was gloomy. What year was this? It must have been 04 or 05 because Dean Kagan (now Solicitor General) was in charge. What year, Haroon?
Hey guys, just wanted to thank everyone for all your wonderful comments. I never expected anyone to even watch this video. @theman1999 - I wasn't a princeton undergrad, actually I went to University of Maryland college park. I wish you all success in whatever you endeavor.
how hard are you willing to work? 36 on your act 4+ gpa in all honors classes be on a sport or be involved greatly with your school and ask for recommendations perhaps.
That is smoke and mirrors buddy (numbers are only the beginning). Oh, and it is easier to get into a graduate program at Harvard than undergrad...but it is still challenging b/c for the most part everyone has nearly the same qualifications.
well, I mean you can be extremely smart and still not have those scores you're right but it's just that your chances are probably alot less if you're not ranked highly in your school.
Who you know and how much they can or have contributed to the school is BIG when it comes to being admitted to selective universities. Everyone there did not necessarily make the grade and conversely everyone there did not and does not have connections. However, the people in the latter group will be exposed to the connections once there. I'll concede that you're correct about grades, testing, & rank (if u don't have connections)...fyi, I worked at one of these schools.
Honestly, its a stretch saying that if one "had D's they'd still get in", but 4 the most part your assessment is fair. Granted, it's not just Harvard but ALL "selective" schools give a 2nd look 2 prospective students whose parents are financially connected, may be alums, and/or have other connections. Its a crapshoot as 2 if their child has the grades but in those cases where they don't, I call it Affirmative Action. All the best 2 u.
bush had all c's in high school and get accepted to yale.....yale accepts 10% of applicants and HE gets accepted?! the reason why cause his parents were loaded, dad was political/head of Cia....i mean thats totally not fair...theres probably some ugly person out there with astounding grades who worked for harvard his/her whole life and didnt get in....how sad

Im disputing the rediculous copyright. A little background music in a family video is completely fair use.

Why has the video not been removed? What good is it left posted without the soundtrack?
