Air New Zealand paints their Boeing 777 in an All Blacks scheme

Does this add a lot of weight to the aircraft? How does this affect fuel burn?

it shouldnt affect it at all as the paint thickness is the same so the weight should be exactly the same and have limited or no affect on the planes performance ther than heat limits as it will absorb more energy from the sun.

Don't mean to be a party killer here but what I'm worry about this plane being painted black is a near miss on a darken runway and any other situation where a dark envirerment might cause this plane from not being seen.
