As a Kansas fan people need to give respect to UNC. They have 5 national titles to our 3. UNC gave Kansas Brown and Roy. Dean played and learned under Dr. Allen at KU and coached UNC to to 2 titles and 800w's. My fanbase (atleast here) likes to act like they are 20x the program that UNC is. Coach Williams is NOT overrated. He can recruit way better in the ACC. This was a great victory and title afterwards. Happiest i've been since 88. Lets hope we can meet UNC again...in the Final Four

it's not "you guys" because I'm not a member of Memphis. I made an observation on what I saw on the court, and Memphis looked superior. Free throw shooting saved Kansas and the Tigers didn't seal the game from the line. In regards to NCAA rules, who is clean? Kansas? They don't have any violations, boosters giving players gifts, questionable academics, etc.? The Jayhawks are "clean"? If so, they're one of the few major players that IS "clean".

Memphis was the best team in college at the 2008 Final Four. The Tigers were best on offense AND defense. The only "weakness" was free throw shooting , which Kansas used to make a comeback late in regulation. However, in terms of which team looked superior, Memphis looked superior to Kansas, N.C., or UCLA in 2008. They had the game versus Kansas under control, lead of 7 points with less than 3:00 in regulation... free throw shooting hurt Memphis and saved Kansas.

But kansas only lost by a basket, so that does not make them overated. Plus they have held the number 1 seed almost the whole year. uni on the other hand, was all over the place. He couldn't get on the floor because Darnell Jackson, Darrell Arthur and Sasha Kaun were all so good. He played about 2 minutes a game that season and the only reason he played in this game was because Kaun got in foul trouble. Still he came off the bench and punked Roy's golden boy Hansbrough.

This kansas team was almost all 3rd and 4th year players while unc was younger. in 2009 unc had almost all 3rd and 4th years and destroyed everyone. All the 3rd years jumped to the nba on unc and florida after they both won in 07 and 09. Just be happy with the 08 title u barely won cause ku has underachieved in the tourney the last 3 years
