  • How much are they and how do I order one? Email me please: charlindabob at yahoo dot com.

  • I should have got one of those at End Of The World

  • Hey there nwmanitou do you use twitter? Twitter a great way to advertize your product.

  • @powerofprepping Not a bad idea, though I've never done anything with twitter. Oddly enough I'm working on a project at my normal job that just got my client near 10k twitter followers. I'll have to look into it.

  • Great idea including instructions. The "Guide to Safe Scouting" requires that all camping stoves must have a manufacturer included operation manual. I hope introduce my scout to the Emberlit Stove on the next campout.

  • Have you considered using a water jet to cut the metal. It would give you a burr-free cuts. With no need to buff I could suggest some solvents for the ink.

  • I live in Belgium, is there a retailer in Europe? Greetz ;)

  • @666scibi At the moment I only do direct sales. Though I do have a couple European retailers I'm considering. To make up for the shipping over seas I encourage group buys. 4 or more stoves and the shipping is free.

  • @nwmanitou international shipping that is.

  • @nwmanitou Thanks for the feedback! I'll spread the word!

  • Good job, I have one of your stoves, and I love it. I hope your business continues to grow.

  • Sonic jewelry bath, walnut shells and whatever cleaning solution you're using. Do five at a time for a couple of minutes.

  • I was thinking of a vibe type cleaning solution as well ... Maybe with BB's, or steel shot....

have had 23 fires in mine so far and it's still going strong !! Will have to save up for a Ti next !!

Thanks for a great idea and an awesome little stove !!

  • Children = Free labor, Just sayin' :-) Great stoves!

  • Bitchin apron, Sweetheart......

  • @MISANTHROPE1964 hehe, I wore it on to hide my gut.

  • I really like those stoves. I was talking to a freind of mine a while back about cleaning up a motor on a motorcyle and he was telling me about using a setup kind of like a sand blaster, but he used baking soda as the medium and said it polished things up real well. If you are interested i will see if i can get more info aobut it.

  • I bet a scotch brite wheel would rip the piece rip out of your hand. The only circular wheel you would have luck with is a serrated plastic flap wheel. 3m also makes a scotch brite belt for belt sanders that works good. I have experience with the vibratory tumblers, they work fantastic. They can be filled with plastic media or even walnut shells. Someone mentioned an orbital or vibrating sander. They make both versions air powered so you could still use water without fear of shock. great stove.

  • @Reallybigmonkey1 Do they make tumblers that I could fit in my garage? I don't need industrial sized, but the brass tumblers at the sporting good store are too small.

  • @nwmanitou Yes, check out my favorite online supplier, MSC. Look at the Raytech or the Burr King. They are the best built. Kramer industries also has a smaller one. I think a barrel tumbler would destroy your products , I think you need the vibratory tumbler. One thats big enough to do the job and fit your garage will be between 2,000 to 6,000 dollars depending on what you get. The trick to tumbling, is to figure out what media or shot works best.Burr King isnt a joke either, Ha Ha.

  • @Reallybigmonkey1 If anyone can figure out a better mouse trap for him, it's the Big Monk

  • Hey Bro, get ya a couple of High School or young College kids to help you out on the cheap!! Love my stove, wouldn't trade it for all the tea in China (and I'm close enough to pick up all the tea in China!). Hang in there Brother!!!

  • Wow, I did not realise that you had that much manual labour in them considering the price you sell them for.

  • @seanmulhall All the more motivation to figure out a mechanical solution. But it is as it should be. Especially with the current economic difficulty I want people to know that they are spending their hard earned cash on something made with care and of genuine value.

  • Hey bro, It's been awhile on the video side there stranger. Nice to see the progress. I still have the vids posted on my sister channel(kidpasty72), But now posting more on this one. This is by far my favorite wood stove! Ya just can't beat it. I still want to buy more when I can afford it. Heck I even have a playlist just for the stove. Keep up the awesome work, Let the Mrs know I said "HI", and may 2012 be even more fruitful for you and the family!

    Take care, Be safe....Scott

  • @TheLionsDen72 My normal day job has had me chained to my computer. But I vow to get some more vids up soon. Thanks for all the support.

  • I love the stove!!! It has worked so well and it's design is top notch. I carry mine with me every time I go up in the mountains. I did a review on it on my blog. It is by far the best wood burning backpacking stove I have ever used. Keep up the good work!!

  • @badvoodoodaddy1 See this right here? These types of comments make it all worth while!

  • @badvoodoodaddy1 -- Heck, Man ?! - I carry mine in my Jumbo Deployment waist pack whenever I leave the house ... On the bus ... To the grocery store (even). The UL weighs NADA and slips into the net-pocket of my main compartment. Along with the vinyl cover and a ziploc ? - no worries, with regard to soot or smell.

  • Maybe try using a media tumbler? Like you use for polishing firearm brass or a rock tumbler. Turn it on and walk away. Come back and its done. I love my Emberlit, and now seeing how much you guys put into them, makes it that much dear to me. I can't wait to get a Ti one now. I have one of the early SS ones and its earned it place in my pack for sure. Thanks for an awsome stove! Get some rest bro!

  • @celticwarrior916 It is my pleasure. I'm wondering if I couldn't make a my own tumbler from a bucket. So far I haven't found a tumbler large enough for the parts and I'm worried they might bend.

  • Love the look at the operations. Makes the stove that much more cool. A factory or do it yourself cleanup version could be an answer for some of the work. Sure there's be plenty of people willing to do their own cleanup for a discount. Be happy to help you out if we live closer man. I'm loving my new stainless Emberlit you just sent me. Use it on hiking/hunting, and even on the patio. lol :)

  • I might try a vibrator sander (not orbital motion but a linear motion) - - Lay the panel on a mouse-pad and just put the 3M-Greenie pad between the sander and the stove panel - - if you use a CORDLESS vibrating sander (non orbital motion) THEN you could even submerge the mouse-pad and the panel under a shallow tub of cleaning solution - - NO AC CURRENT !! ... Like and 18 Volt DeWalt cordless (battery pack) version.

  • @phrankus2009 thanks phrankus, that's not a bad idea. I may just hire the neighbor kids to scrub the stoves. hehe.

  • @nwmanitou Beats sewing soccer balls or cross-trainers ... Just be sure to get their parents to sign a medical waiver and release plus emergency medical power of attourney. Potential lacerations, yuh know. ... I know you were just kidding but I would rather err on the side of abundant caution. (even if it seems prissy).

  • @phrankus2009 hehe, I'm their assistant scout master. I expose them to death and injury on a regular basis.

  • @nwmanitou - SO funny (because it is SO true) LoL !

  • You *might* offer an UN-finished version, for some dollars less ... shipped in a standard freezer-bag, with NO directions ... Call it the OEM or the UL-OEM version. Not sure about what discount would be appropriate ... leave that one to you but ~$5 ? off ... And an "at your own risk" disclaimer ... customer could refer to a YT video on how to finish the stove, at home. THANKS SO MUCH for a realistic peek into your humble ops !! Give the Missus our thanks, Mik.
