@japanesesweet Fundamentaly (John Williams) is a romantic traditionalist but often blends traditional musical syntax and expression with avant-garde techniques and elements of popular music, creating an overwhelming feeling for the beauty of sound and lyricism, manifest in all his concert works"
For me, his concert works are much better, refined, mature than most of his film scores. In his concert works, we find his real conception of music.
John Williams has composed some memorable film scores but he seems overstretched here, not too say very conservative.
