@UT5000 Ali was never a puncher! he wasnt even known for his knock outs. he fought behing his lightning quick jab and nimble feet. This is a video of the "hardest punchers" not the best technique. Ali was one of the greats but he dosent belong on this list, thats for sure.

I know but for someone to say he has no power is also twisted. Ali had all round athleticsm, He may not belong on this list but the has very gud power none the less is my point , some people say he has none but they got it wrong. And yea i know Ali was an outer, Lennox Lewis is my opinion was a hard hitting outer from those whom i know.

Gamboa isn't even really a power puncher. Don't get me wrong, he has power, but most of his opponents fall after being hit several times. It's more hand speed than anything IMO.

The hardest puncher was Mike Tyson. He Punched about 1120 pounds. The Klitschko brother punches now about 950 pounds ! (wladimir) And Foreman "just" 800 pounds. Ali 680 pounds.

lol I laugh every time someone says that Tyson was boxing's hardest hitter. Fuck no. George Foreman, Marciano, Shavers, Liston all hit harder than Tyson. Tyson is probably in the top 10 but he wasn't the hardest hitter, he was probably the most explosive with his piston like movement

@TheRozza333 I'd say Marciano and Tyson were close, but Marciano broke jaws etc. with his punches, and yeah I understand they used lighter gloves back then but still. Plus, Marciano was a smaller man

@celticcutiepie my point is,big punchers often dont develop all round skill,they rely soley of power,which is a problem,Eg Muhammed Ali spent his whole career beating guys who were much harder punchers than him..
