     R.i.P Lucy<3

  • Lucille Ball was a very funny lady. R.I.P. Lucy

  • The most amazing person ever. I dont think anyone could ever replace her and i dont think its possible that she'll be forgotten either.

  • She was great she dead on Carol Burnett's b-day

  • what episode is :27-:30

  • @shelbypink1 , "Lucy is Enceinte," the episode where Lucy tells Ricky she's pregnant.

  • she was only 77 when she died... wow thats young

  • I was 23 and in a business meeting when someone came in and announced that Lucille Ball had died. I had to excuse myself go to my private office, close the door and cry. She is the reason that I am an actor today. I truly Love Lucy. May she rest in peace.

  • she died on my birthday I turned 3

  • Lucy star trek

  • When you come to think of it, I too love Lucy. Responsibles for shows like Star Trek and all that.

  • The great thing about syndicated shows like I Love Lucy, at least for my generation (i was born in '73), was that they introduced kids to classic actors, actresses from the past. I knew many of the same stars and even clothing styles and cultural trends as my grandmother. I appreciated the past as much as my present. Today's' kids don't have any of this, unless their parent's make a concerted effort. My daughter's nine and most of her friends have no clue what was happening during the 90s

  • The best!

  • Dam mary hart was a hott ass blond back then.

  • the CHocholate Scene must of been reall fun!

  • There will never be another Lucille Ball ever!

  • Thanks for uploading this. I was a year old when she passed, so I don't really remember. Lucille Ball was just amazing though. Next year will be her 100th birthday celebration.

  • Wasn't it creepy how she was there with John Ritter at the award ceremony, he died the same horrible way. Aortic Valve rupturing.

  • @Sheri451 Lmao how was that creepy???...It happens to people all the time. I love to read these , they really make me laugh!!!

  • OMG! did Mary Hart stick her finger in a socket?

  • rest in peace lucy.

    best to ever do it.

    you are missed.

  • lol i was so into the video that i tried like every five seconds to move the narrator out of the screen...

  • she's the best and forever will

  • I was 2 when she died and when i was about 6 years old i fell in love with the I Love Lucy show...if i can have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, it would be Lucy. RIP to all 4 stars of the I Love Lucy Show!!!!!!

  • This makes me cry. I LOVE YOU LUCY!!!

  • I loved her when I was 5 and when I watch the episodes at 45 and everytime they still seem new..:>)

  • I remember the day she died. First I was shocked. Lucy could not die- it was impossible! The I cried and cried and cried.........

  • @Pectoris4 That's just how I felt. I LOVED Lucy. I think everyone on the planet loved her with the exception of my father. I still laugh everytime I watch her. My favorite episode is the one where she's stuck in that freezer and icicles are hanging from her ears. And Ricky says "Don't cry Lucy! Don't cry!" he makes that face and says as he shakes his head "Don't BOOO HOO HOO!" And she really could sing. I heard her sing in The Long Long Trailer

  • what a dark day that must've been

  • i wish i could have met her to bad i am only 11 :( we will never forget her

  • she was, well, what can you use to describe her? magnetic? vivacious? she has this gravitational pull to her. I've been watching this series since I was a little girl and she still has me laughing. there hasnt been one like her since. she really did leave behind a legacy.

  • always gives me a stomache ache? probably not the best line...

  • I was only 1 when she died but it still breaks my heart to watch this she was not that old when she died.

  • Lucy <3

  • I was Named after her..RIP Lucille Ball..Wish I got 2 meet her..and tell her what an honor it is 2 have her name =]

  • Can Mary Harts hair be any bigger?

  • this is still my favorite show and im only 21, this is the only show i hate to see in color, it just seems so fake unless its on black and white

    rip lucy

  • i got very single episode save in my head, and i still dont get tire of watching it

  • its sad what happened...i cry every time i watch something about there deaths...but mostly every time i hear the song forever darling by Desi Arnaz i wanna cry knowing that they didn't last it was just sad...all those people had hard lives that had a chance to be fix it just makes me wanna cry and makes me so sad that i don't even have the words to explain it....

  • I started watching this show when I was 3 years old. I'm 20 years old now and I've never loved another program more than I've loved I Love Lucy. Thank you Lucille for a lifetime of laughs and more to come! <3

  • lol. my mom watches et. lol. wow, talk about old shows...

    -annabella

  • Was that John Ritter at 1:20?

I"m 31 and watched this show as a kid and still do to this day. Lucy was great.

  • 0mg. i'm just 25 yrs old and my mom made me watch it with her and till this day i watch it over and over! i love it! The dont show em on tv no more!! They should!

  • I absolutely LOVE "I Love Lucy" rereuns! The only show in the history of television that I can watch a MILLIOn times and NEVER tire of!!!! I know every one by heart!

  • i love 80's hairstyles! R.I.P LUCILLE!

  • She was MAGIC...when the world as we know it, ends, whatever civilization that comes after us, will dig up some remnant of her, whether it be a movie or her show and she'll come to life all over again. She's the Wall of China..she's the 9th wonder of the world...she's the 2nd man on the Moon...she's the best to ever do what she did. As a little black kid ifrom inner city Wash DC, I had no business being fascinated with her...but I almost felt like I was related to her.

  • everytime i watch something on LUcille balls death i cry like i am right now. I love u lucy

  • Bea and Lucy were very close. Bea died on the 20th anniversery of Lucy's death.

  • i thought that was so amazing they were both great actresses

  • she was the best actor that ever lived

  • Bellashes is wrong about Bill Holden and the salad. If you look close enough, you can see the filling on his jacket, and in the next seen, the secretary of the office Bill Holden is in says "How did you get covered in all that pie? Were you in a television show?" So, yes it's pie.

  • Yeah the epsiode on I Love Lucy with William Holden at the Brown Derby was a funny episode. LMAO. The pie in his face and she setting her nose on fire is too much!

  • Actually, it is not pie that lands on William Holden's face, it is the dressing of his Cobb Salad that he orders. If you pay close attention, he asks the waiter to bring him salad. The Brown Derby was were the Cobb Salad orignated and was it's most popular menu item. I'm pretty sure you can find the clip here on Youtube.

  • This is my earliest memory of a celebrity death.

Was that John Ritter she was standing with at 1:22? That's freaky because he died of the same thing Lucille Ball did...ruptured aorta.

  • Such a great great lost!

I myself was actually only 2 days old!

  • Lucy is still such a big part of my life. I sometimes have to remind myself that they are all gone.

  • So true. I just got the box set of I love Lucy and The Lucy Desi Comedy Hour. Lucy, Desi, Viv, and William are timeless. Its hard to believe they're all gone. May they rest in peace.

  • Missed a bunch.

  • They dedicated a whole show to James Cagney back in 1986.

  • I wANT TO PLAY WITH lUCY

  • She brought star trek as well.

  • Hey Jersy, not too many remember that "Str Trek" was originally from the "DesiLu" studios. You must be as old as I am. LOL. =Stefan=

  • I agree, she is "the greatest funny lady of all times" ----

  • Without a doubt, the greatest funny lady of all time. She is missed. Thank's for the laughter.

  • i love this show, my mom told me she should have named me lucy

  • i miss lucy a lot

  • I do too, web!

  • What's amazing is that it's been 20 years since her death...and Lucille Ball's legacy still lives on. She was an amazing and incredible actress that changed history, no doubt. I'm a huge Lucille Ball fan, although I was only 3 at the time of her death, that does not change the fact that she has affected not only her generations but numerous generations after hers! The world was blessed with Lucy!

  • can you believe it's been 20 years, uga?

    I simply can't believe it!

  • I really can't!!!

  • I grew up watching I LoVE LUCY every weekend with my brother...the memories of simpler times.

  • Dear Lucy

    You are the best!

  • She died a month after my birth, that to me is the most saddest fact. Simply because she is someone I look up to for being strong and independent. I'm a true and proud Lucy fan =) Miss her so much.

  • Look at it like this, you did get to share the world with her. I wish I could have with Mae West, but she died a year and some change before I was born.

  • I Love you Lucy and I miss you so bad. I know even the angels in Heaven are smiling because you are there. xxx

  • I totally agree with you. I cried like a baby the night Lucy died. She was like a part of the family. She was so funny and so talented. I still watch the old I LOVE LUCY shows. She was definitely THE BEST and I miss her too.

  • I remember when she was in the hospital and everyone thought she would make it. So sad to hear the news of her passing. Even as a child, I was already in love with her show. We love you Lucy!

  • i discovered this show when i was like eight and i loved it! its my favorite tv show.

  • She is maybe dead but will always remain in our hearts. Miss her:(

  • It is interesting that they show her accepting an award with John Ritter on stage. John was another great actor who passed away way too soon. I remember the flashback episodes of Three's Company that Lucy hosted. She was a fan of that show. I also liked Three's Company, as well as I Love Lucy. The best landlord on Three's Company was Ralph Furley, played by another legend, Don Knotts. I am also a fan of Don's from the Andy Griffith Show. Lucy, John and Don are all gone but live on daily.

  • I love Lucy. She died like 3 months before my little brother was born. I wish I could have met her.

  • viva la lucy!

    you will never be forgotten!

  • she was the first lady of television, a comedy genious.

an idol for many many people, including me.

i was born in the 1990's, so you can see how timeless she is.

we love you lucy! i always will.

  • i luvv her. im a comedian and shes my idol.

lucy ball is timeless, no matter how old or how young lucy is insperational.

    i luv u lucy

    god bless

  • "I Love Lucy" was and stays as one of my favorite shows. I've watched it since I was maybe 2 years old.

In the beginning of this clip, the music in the background makes since with Lucy getting drunk during the "Vitameatavegamin" commercial. Of course, the rest of the clip was sad.

  • I was four when she passed away. She was a good businesswoman also, she was responsible for bringing Star Trek on the air

  • True. And Mission: Impossible and Mannix.

  • @fkri2 troof

  • @Urvy1A - I was 4 also. Born in June 1985

  • wow ET covered it? Musta been too young to remember HA! Oh well thanks for showing us

  • I believe when James Cagney passed, they devoted the whole show to him.

  • Wow, look at Mary Hart's hair, lol.
