i desire so much to learn french but i have difficulty as to how they spell each word. They say a word quite differently as to how it is spelled.. why is that? whheeww..

Thanks. Although I have a degree with a major in renaissance and mediaeval French literature, I am not a native speaker. My pronunciation is OK - better than my own French teacher's - certainly good enough to acclimatise your ear so you can easily understand contemporary oral French, and the goal - to be able to read the French greats - Hugo, Balzac, Zola.....etc.

I was always a little sad that I could not gain as much from your Latin courses, because I have already had extensive training in the language. I am overjoyed that you are now offering these French courses - I look forward to learning a very great deal
