  • whats the diffrence between .45ACP and .45S&W.........whats the diffrence of acp and s&w, in a acp gun you cant use s&w? i have a .45 acp what ammo can i use and can not use?

  • @SoccerBalbus ACP ( Automatic Colt Pistol ) S&W ( Smith and Wesson ) same as .308win ( Winchester ) or 7mm rem mag ( Remington Magnum )

  • @bushmasterwasr Thanks, so what do you recomend for extreme take down, and for cheap practice?

  • @SoccerBalbus Winchester Ranger 230g T-series +P / CCI Blazer Brass 230g ball

  • @bushmasterwasr ACP = Automatic Cartridge Pistol) Colt was the first.

  • @SirThunderPants Thats wrong, ACP =Automatic Colt Pistol

  • @bushmasterwasr I just fired my Kimber pro carry stainless yesterday. 50 rounds of Federal Hydroshok ACP. and like I said, my 1911 isn't a COLT so you have been corrected. It's no problem, I'm here to help.

  • @SirThunderPants But ACP stands for Automatic Colt Pistol.....Just as 40 S&W stands for Smith and Wesson.....so before you try to correct people get your shit right!

  • @SoccerBalbus you should always contact manufacture and they will tell you the max PSI your weapon can handle and you should always shoot +P to check for function and shot placement, never just one shot because you never know if one shot will do and you need to make sure it will work.

  • @SoccerBalbus acp ( automatic colt pistol ) sw ( smith & wesson ) but idk for sure, if its old i would only use standard 180 or 230 grain but if its new anything and even +P if you want but if your not sure contact the manufacture direct they have to tell you what it can handle

  • Good vid

    So what's your fave

    Why

    And make a reload vid

At least I'm looking at reloading but how cost effective is it realy

  • Good vid

But you just informed I won't review give me more what's your gave why

O and if you would make a vid on reloading

    Thanks

  • Hi Bushmasterwasr,

    I have a question.

I live in Brazil and i have a colt .45 m1911 and in its slide is engraved the year -1940-. Can I use only cartridge ball or can i use HP + P ?

    Thanks for your attention.

  • @spetronilho I honestly do not know the answer for that question, but to be safe i would only use standard HPs and not +P rated ones, that way your still safe, i hope i helped some.

  • @spetronilho Do not shoot any +P all 1911's that are standard and ones around that age are not rated for P+ ammunition.

  • @phamax111 Ok! Thanks a lot!

  • @spetronilho De nada meu amigo!

  • @phamax111 Um grande abraço! Fala português?

I wish you a Happy New Year!

  • @spetronilho well. if you havent blowen up your gun yet. NO do NOT use +P ammo in older guns. can cause some very unplesent problems. cracked slide, barrel, falling off front sight, recoil spring breaking. all kinds of problems if you shoot it for more then JUST that 1 time you need to kill something.

  • @ChrisCorle01 My pistol are ok, lol. I didn't use +p amno.....Thanks for the tip!

And what do you think about HP amno...feed ramp works ok with it?

  • @spetronilho yes HP ammo will work. but using a HP in an older colt does pose more of a risk for jaming. i wouldnt reccomend using hallowpoints that have very wide hallow tips. but most of your standard HP ammo will work ok.

  • Any feed back for the remington umc 45 230 grain ammo? just bought a box for 90 bucks for 250 rounds. Not using for home defense just target . by the way that and the winchester elite home defense were the only 45 rounds I could find and I went to three different places

  • @andrew587658 The remington is good. and the Winchester is a great protection round

  • every man should have at LEAST 1,000 rounds per gun he owns... PER GUN, not per caliber gun.

  • @12GaugeLosAngeles and how the hell is he going to carry them in SHTF situation?

  • @karapaneas True... so true.

  • anyone try Tula ammo im thinking of buying 500 rounds for 155

  • I would stay away from it, my friend got the .223 and it was crapy through his ar

  • I got a question, how much was that winchester ball ammo and where did ya get it?

  • Well i got it at Buckeye Outdoor a few years back for 12.99

  • eh we dont have that store here in illinois, but thanks for the info.

  • Yea i know its one of a kind, were in Il do you live i was just in Springfeild visiting a college friend, O and please dont buy from Gander Mt there prices are way way over. Trust me i work at a gun store.

  • Can I borrow a box dude ? Haha, I have yet to see what the cost /box will be. I know for my 9mm I can find em somewhere about $15/box for 50.

  • if you want to pay shipping from Ohio lol, and .45 has went up a good bit as all ammo has you can find it around 14 to 30 dollors for 50 rounds of ball ammo depending were you look.

  • Aurora IL. Yeah screw gander mountain, everything about them is expensive! Best place for me is the internet, this state is expensive on things like ammo. Eveb the many gun stores around me are bad. A couple of them are just as bad as Gander mt. Springfield is a nice place, i will be heading down there soon :)
