  • I love your patience, I've just bought some Windsor and Newton Flow Improver, and you can really see the difference on your model between pure water and water with flow improver, its thin but still covers and doesn't seem to suck to the sides through its capillary action!

  • Do you water down your paints at all? If you do, when do you choose to water them down?

  • @lpeabody I almost always water my paints down. I usually water them down at least 1 part paint to 1 part water. The reason is because acrylic paint from the pot is thick and will obscure detail, take a while to dry and will ruin the fine brushes I use. Thin paint is easier to work with and allows you to build up pigment in layers and dries faster. The downside is that you have to make sure your brush isn't overloaded with paint and that you need to apply multiple layers to get a uniform colour.

  • I really like your vids but it is heard for me to follow what you say. The music is louder than your speaking. My suggestion is that either you speak louder or you turn down the volume of the music ;-)

  • @Arbornoctua I really need to talk louder to be honest, as the microphone picking my voice up is off to the side. I was waiting to see if anyone had any problems with it and I'm trying to address this in future videos. Thanks for the comment

  • Looking good. Wondered how many coats it was going to take to cover up the red.

  • @jimeronimo It only really took 2 coats in most of the large flat areas. The edges of all the curved sections required further attention in the end.

  • What i mean is that its an inspiration source even that i dont use those colors

waching the vid on utube makes me wanna paint more

  • @kvarntobben Well get painting then ;)

  • All of ur vids and others to is a good inspiration source of mine even that i usually paint space wolves

  • @kvarntobben Thanks, I'm glad they can help. I'm really not trying to show how to paint this specific model and in these specific colours, but more of the techniques which are more than transferable to other schemes ;)

  • another superb video. great tutorial there is many wargamers this will help :)

  • @OrcPainterNerd Thank you and I hope so. You should see him now. I've still got a few details to paint in the base colours but it's already looking really good. It's a pleasure to paint. It's just a shame I'm not too good at painting over my cam yet else I would have recorded the whole thing
