There are other words, stupid music, and smart music, easily heard, and advanced! I am thinking of course of pop music as mainstream (the most hanging on) and the more advanced type of jazz, where improvisation is the key to sucsess! It's not just about the rhythm like you seem to say here, for many people it's about the lyrics and voices to.

Of course there are people who just can't sing because they don't have the right voice.

But leaving that people behind, it will just depend on taste.

I don't listen to Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber or other ones who sing that kind of music, but that doesn't mean they can't sing or make bad music. They wouldn't have fans if they were really that bad..

@FullMoonHowling Music is indeed chemical, why we listen to music is that our human brains need stimulation! The music is converted to impulses that stimulate the brain of many nervous system. We humans are different and need different stimulation. Most of us (mainstream) only need a catchy loop with some nice bridges. Others of us who listen to more sophisticated music like classical or jazz, need impulses that can only take form by practicing a lot on the musical instrument.
