It wasn´t in the first 2 seasons, but NOW it is. And while a Delena door is open, a Stelena door is closed - or the way round. This song is so perfect for TVD! I think Delena would work for a while, but Damon tries too hard to protect Elena, and I think she would feel suffocated and caged in after a while. And honestly, I think Delena has that heat and passion of constant underlying sexual tension, but with Stefan and Elena it's more than that. Did Stefan make mistakes and lose Elena for now? I think so, but I also think Elena still loves him and always will, she just needs time to adjust to the new Stefan and forgive what he did.
