Why do writers always feel the need to add a character with the main characters powers that is the opposite sex? its very annoying and its getting boring. supergirl, wonder woman, spider girl, to name a few...

exactly because its common, it makes the show seem less original, and ive gotten tired of new characters having the same powers. i kind of like the main character have something that makes them unique, but when everyone does the same exact power it annoys me. i get that there are villains with similar powers, but for some reason they usually create a character with the same powers as the main character. it just bugs me, i dunno why.

thats true, he did get the ghostly wail and the ice powers, and he did seem to master his powers faster than even vlad. and vlad had the advantage of being older when he got his, danny is still just a kid.

they go though a lot of bad and dangerous things to help him. danny has his powers, and has to realize its harder for them. but danny is not forcing them 2 help, they shouldnt be so mean, they need 2 realize he has a greater responsibility than them. they might occasionally help, but it one episode it shows that danny sometimes needs to work all night long when there are too many ghosts in town. so his sacrifice is ultimately greater he is even doing badly in school for missing.
