Othmar Schoeck ancora una volta esprime il suo particolare linguaggio, soprattutto in presenza di archi con visionaria ispirazione, tra il fatato e l'onirico. Una raffinata delizia di timbri e voci liriche, sommesse ma intensamente incisive !!!

are you sure that this wonderful string orchestra work has never been performed before in U.S? unbelievable! schoeck is not totally forgotten! his cello concerto was performed in the the Avery Fisher Hall in 2006 with cello concertos of frank martin and arthur honegger - the three important swiss composers ot the 20th century!
