  • @twtape, Thanks. It was good to know more thing about her. I´m a big fan.

  • rananim3, where do I sign?

  • @twtape, Thanks. I would like to see Rita and her father dancing. None of her brothers become a dancer. It seems that only Rita inherited the dancing talent of Eduardo Cansino. They were a dancing team for a while because they looked brother and sister.

  • @Fonseca429 If you google "Rita Hayworth with her father" and "Rita Hayworth dancing with her brother Vernon" you'll find pictures on Flickr. And try watching the TCM documentary about her (/watch?v=EFKSmzeIuBQ) ...It included some rare footage, I can't remember very well but maybe it shows her dancing with her father.

  • Thank you for the video. I love it!!

  • Who is Rita´s dancing partner?

  • She was a genius.

  • Who is dancing with her? Her brother or her father?

  • @Fonseca429 It does look like her brother. Her father would have been much older.

  • shuow de boa

  • @twtape , I think it's her uncle. Not 100% sure though. It's not her brother Vernon because he plays a Dragoon soldier.

  • @Muirmaiden I see! Thanks for that info. :)

  • I believe that was her brother dancing with her for a little bit wasn't it? I heard that somewhere but I don't know if it's true.

  • Beautiful Rita Hayworth. What a pleasure to watch her dancing! Glenn Ford was a lucky man---he played five times opposite Rita. Yes, Rita had Spanish blood too. Passion, class, beauty and flamenco---who would ask for more?

  • @ForEverGilda AKA Margarita Carmen Cansino

  • @MrsCarolynMarchand Castanets...

  • OLe, Rita! OLe y OLe...!

    Tú tienes sangre española!

  • Davvero ottimo...!!

  • misticjoe, Rita Hayworth DID DANCE flamenco, and she was a GREAT flamenco dancer! You better read more about her before writing such things!

  • For an actress who does not dance flamenco, she dances really good! Ole mi arma, ole!

  • I find this scene delightful. His attitude looks the one of a little boy before her!!

  • she is poetry in motion one of the most beautiful women of the 1940s

  • no woman today comes close to this goddess

  • I anm sooo amazed she dances sooo magnificent anyhow and especially this difficult Flamenco!!!

  • People watch this video think this dance is easy to do. Not at all. It takes YEARS for someone to learn real flamenco. It is very difficult!!!

  • Thanks for posting this with the original music.

  • * A grande Diva Rita Hayworth...*@R

  • @aninha9309 I agree! She is just beautiful!

  • Bella!!!

  • I love this! Sevillanas are such a joy!
