He pointed it out because it is a very unusual tuning. You name any other song that has that tuning. I can only find one made by Soundgarden. I defenantly don't think he thinks he is the shit because of it.

That was unbelievable. Satch is truely a master of guitar. I love the whole TUNE TO E concept. Gives everything a much more powerful feel.

Fully agree. I snapped a string and tried it for fun (actually took the idea from Paul Gilbert) but you can make incredible music with 'one string' effectively.

Nothing on Satch though. Man's a compositional genius.
