@gfjagex111 what is your problem, i love russian hockey and i think russian hockery is better than canadian, i don't liek gretzky style and everything related to him.
No one says a neighborhood that is 100% black needs more diversity.
No one says a neighborhood that is 100% asian needs more diversity.
No one says a neighborhood that is 100% oriental needs more diversity.
They are already 100% diverse.
All white neighborhoods and only white neighborhoods always need to be more diverse. White neighborhoods only stop needing to be more diverse when there are no white people left in them.
@fsmetal Going off of what standard? How good you thought he was? He was elite, don't get me wrong, that's why he's in the Hall of Fame , but he hasn't done nearly enough to be considered the greatest goalie in NHL history. Are you a European hockey fan?
@fsmetal He beat Roy twice? In what, two playoff series'?
Oh, well it looks like you're from Texas, and I would assume you're below the age of twenty, so you never even got to see Tretiak play. I bet you're dad told you Ed was one of the best goalies just because he won a cup in 99'. Then you watched Miracle, and saw Kurt Russel talking about how good a goalie Tretiak was.
Be honest, you don't know shit about hockey. I bet you think Mike Modano is the second best forward ever.
I am 26. I watched Belfour play a lot. I watch the rest play a lot. That is how I know he is one of the best goal tenders ever. I
To be honest, you do not know shit about hockey. Mike Modano was not the second best forward ever but he was a brilliant one, and he will wind up in the Hall of Fame. No one can deny this.
Now stop trolling and assuming shit. You are wrong.
@fsmetal Belfour could sneak into the top ten, not the top three. No justified non-homer hockey fan would say he belongs there. There's no doubt that you enjoying him as a kid effects your opinion on him.
Save percentage, GAA, Cups, Conn Smythe's, Wins, Vezina's, ect... Make(s) goaltenders legends. If you did know anything about hockey, you would factor this in. Rather than using facts, you say, "I saw him play and he was one of the best."
@ebtricks Winning an award does not necessarily mean one is the absolute best. IF you did know anything about anything, you know this man. There was a reason why Belfour started in front of Hasek in Chicago. Yes. I know a lot about hockey, son.
@fsmetal Winning dozens of awards, and keeping the puck out the net more frequently than other goaltenders makes a goalie the absolute best, or in contention. Roy won four Cups and three Conn Smythe's, Hasek won six vezina's, and Brodeur is the winningest.
I haven't missed an Avs game in two years, I watch every single playoff game, highlights every night, World Juniors, Olympics, All-Star games, so hockey is huge part of my life. You watch fucking basketball, so you're no hockey fan.
@ebtricks Belfour was very good at that keeping the puck out of the net more frequently than other goal tenders thing. I guess he was one of the absolute best.
I do not watch basketball. I watch hockey and baseball all the time, though. They are both huge parts of my life. You are just an idiot who is talking shit when you don't know shit. You really need to grow up and learn.
@fsmetal Belfour's shiny 2.50 GAA and .906 save percentage really prove that he's the best goalie ever. Your little "stats don't matter, my opinion does" philosophy is never taken seriously. To be honest, I never take a Texan's opinion seriously when it comes to hockey. Such a poor hockey-town with no concept of the sport.
Much of Tretiak's career has been kept in the dark. So little is known about him aside from international numbers, which reflect very little on his entire career.
@ebtricks I love that you thin that because someone is from Texas, they must not know anything about hockey. Do you have any idea what the Dallas Stars have done for hockey in the state of Texas? OF COURSE NOT! You didn't live it. I did. I know my shit. Idiot.
@fsmetal Texans don't know anything about hockey. Dallas has an excellent team and product on the ice, yet little to no fans attend the games. Youth hockey is pretty weak in the state, and all the state cares about is shitty football, which you've referenced in this conversation.
If you don't mind me asking, who is your favorite player on the Stars, what kind of player is he (Defensive D-man, playmaker, sniper, ect..), and why is he your favorite?
@ebtricks Like I said,. You know shit all about hockey in the state of Texas. Don't talk shit because you don't know shit.
On the current Stars roster, my favorite players are Kari Lehtonen, the goaltender, Jamie Benn and Loui Eriksson, both of which are forwards. Just FYI. Sports Illustrated just polled 179 hockey players and asked who the most underrated hockey player is. Eriksson was picked.
@fsmetal I think they're excellent, but under-appreciated players. If only they played in an actual hockey market. What do you like the most about Eriksson's game?
@ebtricks They do play in hockey markets. Dallas, Texas. You would know that attendance is up quite a bit this year if you bothered to pay attention to hockey at all. You are a troll dude.
@fsmetal Dallas' attendance is up? Are you fucking kidding me? 28th in the league with an average 12,904 attending per night. Much lower than the 15,073 average from last year. I love how I know more about your team/market than you do.
I'm not a troll, I'm a person who's proven you wrong time and time again with facts. Whine all you want about your so called "knowledge of the game," but you've made several errors that undoubtedly prove that you barely even know the basics.
@ebtricks Indeed you do not pay attention., Attendance has risen by 27% since the Stars got a new owner. They have begun to sell out a few games. Then again, you know jack shit about the Texas hockey market just like you know jack shit about hockey.
You are a troll. You think that just because I live in Texas, I cannot be a serious hockey fan,. News flash: The Stars have been in Texas for 19 years now. That is plenty of time to accumulate more than a few hardcore fans
@fsmetal Give me a link on your "27%" statistic. As I've indicted, attendance has dropped off since last year. 69.6 percent of the building is occupied, on average. Terrible number for a good team. These statistics are coming from ESPN, so you know they're factual. I'll PM you a link if you want.
Texans just don't know the game (aside from Myers and Leetch). I've never met one who does. It's a football state with football fans.
@ebtricks You are going to have to give me a little time to find the link because the Stars twitter account tweeted about it a couple of weeks ago. Attendance has improved since they got a new owner.
Here is a Texan that does know the game, and I am not the only one. My dad, brother and uncle are all big hockey fans. My uncle lives in Oklahoma, and he is still a big Stars fan. My friend Pierce is a Stars fan too. To name a few
@fsmetal Oh really? That's cool. I don't really care about you or your shitty Texas family and their preferences. I know that you're a casual fan, because you talk about hockey like a fucking idiot.
Quick question: if you played hockey, or if you know about on-ice chatter, what word is used more than any other besides "fuck/fucking"? You don't sound like a hockey player, or even a hockey fan. I know when people know their shit, and it really seems like you're lying.
@ebtricks If I was a casual fan, I would not pay close attention to every Stars game every year, but I do. If I was a casual fan, I would not have followed them for the past 15 years, even when they had seasons where they weren't that great or were just plain frustrating, and they have had those more recently. I follow them closely anyway. I am far from a casual fan. I am a serious hockey fan
@fsmetal Pay attention to? I love how I watch every, no MATTER what, and you claim you know more then me. You "keep up" with the team, rather than keeping with the team. In Texas, a casual fan seems like a hardcore fan.
You probably know more than all of your family and acquaintances, and that's fine. The more north you go, the more they know. I'm much like a Canadian fan, I live and breathe hockey. I never miss a game, and I've always ONLY loved hockey.
@ebtricks Sometimes life gets in the way of watching hockey. Sometimes shit happens like you don't live in an area where your team actually gets televised, and you are poor.
In Texas, a hardcore fan is a hardcore fan, and that is what I am. I am a hardcore Stars fan. I always have been
On the contrary, both my dad and uncle know just as much as I do. Quite a bit.
@fsmetal In Canada or Minnesota, you'd be considered a casual. Hell, any half decent hockey market. You'd look like a genius in Phoenix, but you'd look like a dumbass in Montreal.
You just over-estimate your knowledge of the game because no one around you understands/cares about the sport. You aren't special up north. You're just the average casual hockey fan, which is fine.
@ebtricks Unlike you, I am smart enough to be able to follow more than one sport. Hockey and baseball do not even take place during the same time of the year anyway. They make it easy for you, and you still can't follow more than one sport
@fsmetal Intelligence isn't correlated with the amount of sports you watch, Texan. Should I watch every sport and be the smartest man in the world? I don't like baseball because it's not hockey. I don't like any sport unless it's hockey.
That's the definition of a hardcore fan; someone who dedicates himself to one game. In the off-season I watch the draft, wait for the July 1st, and watch recordings of old games. I've seen the finals upwards to ten times. All you do is watch baseball.
@ebtricks I am not lying.I used to play every single weekend with a large group of friends back in Texas. It was roller hockey, but that is still hockey.
What is a little odd is that I had a larger group of friends into the sport in Texas than here in Pennsylvania. Here I know 1 person that is as into the sport as I am. You would think that, with a state that has 2 very good NHL teams and the Hershey Bears, I would know more people that love the sport like I do
@fsmetal Trust me, Philly is an excellent hockey town. In '74 and '75, two million fans were at the parade(s). Their attendance is great, their rating are great, and the fan support is excellent. One of the top non-Original Six teams in the States. That's not even mentioning the Pens.
Just because you personally had a different experience, it doesn't change the fact that Philly is the superior hockey town in every regard. Your little fan tracking and scaling system doesn't work.
@fsmetal Well, when everything you type is nearly illegible, it's tough to get the message across. If you read my response, I never said you lived there. I was just stating what an excellent hockey-town Philly was, and that I "hadn't even mentioned the Pens yet." You write like a child, but what can you expect from a Texan, right? Nice shitty educational system.
@ebtricks I have proven that I know the game better than you. I have proven that I actually do follow it,. All you have done is talk shit and make errors like claim that hockey barely has a presence in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. YOU DO NOT EVEN LIVE THERE., I lived through it gaining a strong presence in the area. You didn't. The Stars have done wonders for hockey in Dallas. Prior to 1993, it barely had a presence. Now it very much has a presence
@fsmetal How have you proven that? Give me facts, give me evidence. You have none, you're just a gyrating spew of repetition. "I know the game. Hockey is Texas' biggest sport. Tretiak was the best goalie. You don't know shit about hockey. I've watched hockey grow in Texas. The Soviet leagues were better than the NHL."
Take these quotes, repeat them in varying orders dozens of times, and that's how you try to argue. Maybe you'll copy and paste one of my insults and say, "No, you are."
@ebtricks You haven't given facts. I have. In fact. I just gave you facts. Literally. Just now. In the reply before this one.
I did not say that the Soviet league was better than the NHL. I said the Soviet league was not shitty. How about actually paying attention to the conversation you are having, dumbass? If you keep up, you don't look like the idiot that you are
@fsmetal How is saying that the Soviet league was good a "fact"? Do you know what fact means? It doesn't mean opinion. If you don't mind, go ahead and list your facts that you've listed. You've brought up Belfour's numbers in the Buffalo series, and that's about it.
Also, could you stop copying each fucking insult I give you? You've been doing this the entire argument, and it makes you seem like you're either mentally deficient or nine years old.
@fsmetal I already brought up Belfour's awards? As far as the Edmonton Dallas game, I watched it, so not sure what was so informing there. Facts I already knew, but still facts I guess.
But if you watched so much hockey, and since I obviously know your team well, tell me some facts about my team. Not the old one, either, just the current Avs. Who's our best defensemen? Who's been our best player? Who's our starting goalie? Go ahead then.
You don't know much of anything about my team. Varlamov has played quite a few more games between the pipes, but Giguere should be starting because his stats are better. Duchene is your leading goal scorer. O'Reilly is leads your team in assists and points, though. Landeskog has the best +/-
@fsmetal Are you kidding me? You just looked at a fucking stats sheet and typed it out. I asked for something ABOUT my team. I've already got each of these stats imprinted in my head. Tell me something like this:
Loui is a franchise player and he's incredibly intelligent with the puck, Benn's goal against Columbus was fucking disgusting, Ryder was an underrated acquisition and has one of the better wristers in the league, Ribero is one of the most creative players the puck.
@fsmetal Can you list some real FACTS about my Avs that aren't on a stats sheet that you can just look up? Tell me who works the hardest, who's the smartest, fastest, who has the hardest shot, ect... Prove to me that you watch hockey. The Stars have played my Avs three times this year, so you should know the basic shit.
@ebtricks P.S. I sat in the Washing DC airport and listened to the Stars beat Edmonton today 4 to 1. Benn got two goals. Eriksson got 3 assists. Ribeiro got 2 goals, but you kind of have to take his small victories with a grain of salt because his +/- tends to be horrible every year. Bachman did a stellar job backing up Lehtonen. Edmonton has not beaten Dallas in regulation in the AAC since 2006. Dallas has their number. Yes. I really do follow hockey
@fsmetal Good job listening to the game in the airport. I haven't missed an Avs game in two and a half years, and yes, I would know the stats, because I watched it. Who says a hockey player has a "small victory" in game? He scored two goals? You see, you don't talk right. You just sound so fucked up.
Oh yeah, Ribero's +2 is so shitty this year. Just like his +21 back in 07-08. What the fuck was that even supposed to mean? If anything, this post disproves that you watch much hockey.
@ebtricks And I keep up with the Stars for every game because I am a real hockey fan
That +21 was the best year of his career. After that, it was 3 seasons in a row with a negative +/-. The reason he is + right now is because he has scored 4 goals in the last 2 games. The problem? I know he will not produce consistently. He never does. Eriksson is +14. Benn is +10. Souray is +9. Ryder is +8
@fsmetal Plenty of border teams have top six players with a negative +/-. To be honest, people look into that stat too much. I doubt you even get the meaning of it. It isn't just to outscore your opponent, but to be sound defensively as well. The fact that you brought that up in mentioning one game makes no sense. Rather then him being on pace for 60 points, you only bitch about his +/-. I think he's produced fine for the role he's in, and you're just fucking clueless.
@ebtricks His defense is the problem. Watch him regularly, and you will see that he is pretty terrible on defense. I don't doubt his ability to get a shit load of assists and some goals too, but his defense really hurts the team. It's why they got rid of Matt Niskanen. Unfortunately, they got rid of James Neal, too. They got Goligoski, who is great, but damn it I miss James Neal playing in a Stars uniform.
@ebtricks Let me give you an example. IT is from another sport, but it stands. Barry Sanders. He is one of the greatest football players of all time. Did he ever win a Super Bowl? No. His team sucked too much.
@fsmetal You can't even argue within the sport we're talking about. I don't give a fuck about that shitty sport or the rats that play it. Once again, you're not a hockey fan.
@ebtricks You do not understand the concept of an example of how someone can be one of the best at their respective sport without getting a bunch of awards or accomplisments for it. You do not know hockey or sports at all., You are not a fan. Get out.
@fsmetal So tell me, what formula do you use to determine the best players in each of their respective sports? Hall of Famer on a Texas team = Best player ever? I'd say winning is the objective of sports, and the goalies I've listed have done it the most. An argument for competitiveness could be made, but NO goalies have competed harder than Roy, Hasek, and Brodeur. Tretiak in his shitty Soviet league doesn't compare. Belfour and his one cup and fairly average numbers can never compare.
@ebtricks Your calling the Soviet league shitty and Belfour average is prove that you know NOTHING about hockey. Read a book. Do some research and then come talk to me.
@fsmetal The Soviet league was shitty. From what we know, there were only a few powerhouse teams that were against the grunt teams. For CSKA Moscow in three years, Tretiak had 81 wins, 7 losses, and four ties. ANY competitive league would never allow a player to have these unrealistic numbers.
Read a book? We're talking about fucking hockey and you tell me to read a book? I've listed dozens of facts to this point, and you've listed none. I think it's you who needs to "read a book."
@fsmetal Hockey is a visual game. You don't read the game, you watch. The only thing that needs to be read is rules and statistics. I don't care about some shitty biography for Mark Messier.
It's funny you bring up books, because you're yet to post a single fact proving your argument right or wrong. I've listed dozens of facts, examples, and logical reasons as to why I'm correct, while you just blatantly repeat "You don't know hockey, I know hockey." Sure thing, Texan.
@ebtricks What you are basically saying is that the history of hockey holds no importance or significance. This is proof positive that you are not a real hockey fan and that you know jack shit about the sport.
Ignoring the facts I presented only makes you look like more of an idiot.
@fsmetal Where did you get that I said the history of hockey has no significance? I never said that, so good job making up a lie to try and prove your point (which is what?). Go ahead, look through my favorites. There's hundreds, if not thousands of hockey videos spanning for two to three years.
You have no facts; you've presented none. All you do is repeat yourself, and me. You're not too bright for being 26, especially indicted by your terrible grammar. Texans, what can you expect?
@fsmetal I read articles, I read stats, I read game previews and what have you, but I don't read books about hockey. I have in the past, but not now. The history of hockey wasn't written, it was within actions. If you could recommend a book that actually gives insight on the sport that isn't an auto-biography/biography, then I'd appreciate it.
What isn't your fault, that you're a Texan? Hey, we're not all perfect. Just be the Texan you are and go rant about how shitty the Cowboys are.
@ebtricks I am not a big fan of football, and I prefer college football to the NFL. The team called the Cowboys that I cheer for won. They were 12 and 1.
I am a Texan who is all about hockey and baseball, and I am very proud of it.
@fsmetal The Soviets were a team that knew one another very well, and had formed chemistry for decades. NHLer's were put on all-star teams, which as we found out from Herb Brooks, chemistry and work ethic could be used more effectively than raw talent.
The Soviets were not only known for their skill, but also for their strange antics. They'd do ANYTHING off the ice to throw NHLer's off their game, and it worked. Philly sure did scare the living hell out of them in 76', though.
@ebtricks They, also, beat team USA and Canada both repeatedly in international play. It took a truly special coach with a truly special team to take them down.
@fsmetal Once again, chemistry and experience is why they won, not raw talent. It's funny how you've never even seen the Soviets from 60-80 yet you pretend you're an expert and fan. You're not the only late American to kiss-ass the Soviets, and they were great hockey players, but it still holds true today that the NHL is the best league in the game with the best players, and it always will be.
@fsmetal Clips? Oh wow, looks like we have another Youtube scout. You watch a three minute video and pretend you know them perfectly. I've seen as many "clips" on Tretiak as you, I've even watched a couple of re-run games when available. Though it isn't my generation. I love learning from it, and I really do enjoy watching the classics, but I don't act like I'm a pseudo expert NHL traditionalist.
I never said you said the NHL wasn't the best league, I was mocking you.
@fsmetal Hasek's tenure with the Chicago was NOT his prime, that was essentially the start of his career. Shame his goalie coach, "the best goalie in the world" Tretiak couldn't make him better than the superhuman Ed Belfour.
Hasek went on to Buffalo, Detroit, and Ottawa to produce far better career number and milestones far beyond Belfour's career. Oh wait, numbers, awards, and winning don't matter in sports, the best players are the best because they play for a Texas team.
@fsmetal Why do you keep saying "HE BEAT ROY," or "HE BEAT HASEK"? He didn't beat shit. He won a series against them, which is a TEAM centric effort. Buffalo was a fucking HORRIBLE Stanley Cup team, with a terrible roster. The Stars were loaded with talent. Hasek beat Belfour in winning two cups.
@fsmetal You're not the only little fan of Tretiak. You're 26 and you've never seen him play, you've never seen his numbers, and you don't even know what league he played in. You barely even understand who he was as a goalie.
@ebtricks I like how you just automatically assume. All that you know about me is that I am a Texan and that I like Tretiak and Belfour. You do not know what I have seen. You do not know what facts and stats I know about him. You just assume. You are wrong in your assumptions, by the way
@fsmetal Well, I know that you haven't played much hockey, and that you haven't watched much. You just create little fantasies about players whom you've never seen before.
If you did know his stats, you wouldn't have even brought Belfour into the conversation. I admitted he was top ten, which is very fair. For whatever reason you're still whining about it.
@ebtricks I have played hockey. I have watch shit tons of hockey over the last 15 years. I have been to a lot of hockey games. You are just an idiot. You know jack all about hockey
@fsmetal Look at you profile; only one slight mention of hockey. You also like fucking baseball, which is evidence that you double-dip in sports. I only watch hockey. It's the only sport that matters to me. You're obviously lying about your knowledge of the game, which is fine, because I know I watch WAY more hockey than any Texan ever has. I've grown up watching and playing, while you just pretend like it's "your sport," when really you're a casual little fan who likes shitty baseball.
@ebtricks You called Belfour average. Average players do not wind up in the hall of fame, and he was elected in 2011.It was his first year of eligibility. That does not happen unless there is no doubt man.
For the record - 53 saves in the cup winning game 6. His GAA was a damned amazing 1.26 for that series 2 Vezinas. 4 Jennings. The Calder. 6 All Star games. Belfour was amazing.
@fsmetal Re-read my comments, I NEVER called Belfour average. I've repeated twice that he's a top ten goalie in NHL history. I said his GAA and save percentage were average, especially in comparison to Hasek's.
If you knew ANYTHING about Roy, Hasek, or Brodeur, you'd realize that those numbers, while incredibly prestigious and impressive, are dwarfed by the top three goalies. My argument isn't that Belfour was not good, he was excellent, it's that he isn't top three in NHL history.
@ebtricks I never said he was top 3 dumbass. I said he should be included in you list of best goaltenders ever because he damned well was. His career GAA and save percentage were not average compared to anything.
You are not taking into consideration that Hasek and Roy played on better teams, as a whole, than Belfour did after he left Dallas. HE never again played on a team that had defense that was close to what the Stars had with guys like Zubov and Sydor
@fsmetal So what's you argument? I said he was top ten, meaning that I agree he was one of the greatest of all time. Can you even read? This is the third time I've said this, yet you continuously ignore it.
The whole "better team" argument is bullshit, too, because all of the goalies had excellent shots on great teams. Roy had to play for a weak Montreal, Hasek for Buffalo, and Brodeur is one of the few to stick on the same team. Belfour got to play for Dallas when they were loaded.
@ebtricks You argued with me when I said he deserves mention among the greatest of all time dude. That is how this whole mess started, basically. That and you apperently don't think Tretiak is the absolute greatness that he really is.
Great defense can make goalies look better. That was my point. Proof: Osgood. He is not bad, but he is not the god that Detroit fans make him out to be.
@fsmetal I said he wasn't a top three goalie, and you said, "if you're going to mention the best, at least mention Belfour", which, to be honest, there are still many more goalies I'd mention before him. I think that people don't understand Tretiak and what kind of goalie he was, yet they make claims that he's the best ever while never seeing him play. I've seen Hasek, Roy, and Brodeur play, I've never seen Plante, Dryden, Parent, or Sawchuk play, so I don't claim that they're the best.
@ebtricks There should not be many more goalies that you would mention before him. I think you just hate him because he beat your precious Roy in the Western Conference Finals twice
@fsmetal Roy won his four cups and three Conn Smythe's, so I don't give a fuck. The Wings ruined more opportunities for the Avs as an organization than anyone, so I dislike them the most. The also harbor the rat, Todd Bertuzzi.
Look at professional top ten lists based upon factual achievement, Belfour is 10-7 on those lists, if at all. I think that's reasonable, because there are more traditional goalies that deserve nods for their performance.
@ebtricks For someone who talks about "hardcore fans" and being knowledgeable on hockey, you sure contradict that with your idiotic layperson view of Bertuzzi.
@cursedlemon Sorry, I was nine years old when I watched him sucker and break the neck of one of our players. I vowed to hate him no matter what the circumstances. He doesn't deserve to be in the NHL, and I'm not the only one that thinks this.
@ebtricks .....who the fuck...with the end of the Soviet Union Icehokey died as well no matter what you ahm the North American amateurs/rookies/beginners are fairytalin' about.Their success will be unreachable for you hehe and I love the world like it is hehe roooooooookies...hehe...roookies..rookies...
@wg390 You may want to learn English before you make a fool of yourself trying to insult people. Though, if you're saying Canada is a country of losers... well.. 1972. Check what happened back then. Just saying.

Oh, well it looks like you're from Texas, and I would assume you're below the age of twenty, so you never even got to see Tretiak play. Be honest, you don't know shit about hockey. I bet you think Mike Modano is the second best forward ever.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Yeah. He beat Roy in 98-99 and 99-2000
You are wrong.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Belfour could sneak into the top ten, not the top three. No justified non-homer hockey fan would say he belongs there. There's no doubt that you enjoying him as a kid effects your opinion on him.
Save percentage, GAA, Cups, Conn Smythe's, Wins, Vezina's, ect... Make(s) goaltenders legends. If you did know anything about hockey, you would factor this in. Rather than using facts, you say, "I saw him play and he was one of the best."
Oh, and I like how you copy pasted my insult.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Winning an award does not necessarily mean one is the absolute best. IF you did know anything about anything, you know this man. There was a reason why Belfour started in front of Hasek in Chicago. Yes. I know a lot about hockey, son.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Winning dozens of awards, and keeping the puck out the net more frequently than other goaltenders makes a goalie the absolute best, or in contention. Roy won four Cups and three Conn Smythe's, Hasek won six vezina's, and Brodeur is the winningest.
I haven't missed an Avs game in two years, I watch every single playoff game, highlights every night, World Juniors, Olympics, All-Star games, so hockey is huge part of my life. You watch fucking basketball, so you're no hockey fan.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Belfour was very good at that keeping the puck out of the net more frequently than other goal tenders thing. I guess he was one of the absolute best.
I do not watch basketball. I watch hockey and baseball all the time, though. They are both huge parts of my life. You are just an idiot who is talking shit when you don't know shit. You really need to grow up and learn.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Belfour's shiny 2.50 GAA and .906 save percentage really prove that he's the best goalie ever. Your little "stats don't matter, my opinion does" philosophy is never taken seriously. To be honest, I never take a Texan's opinion seriously when it comes to hockey. Such a poor hockey-town with no concept of the sport.
Much of Tretiak's career has been kept in the dark. So little is known about him aside from international numbers, which reflect very little on his entire career.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks I did not say the best. I said one of the best. HE was one of the best. If you paid attention, you would have known that.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@ebtricks I love that you thin that because someone is from Texas, they must not know anything about hockey. Do you have any idea what the Dallas Stars have done for hockey in the state of Texas? OF COURSE NOT! You didn't live it. I did. I know my shit. Idiot.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Texans don't know anything about hockey. Dallas has an excellent team and product on the ice, yet little to no fans attend the games. Youth hockey is pretty weak in the state, and all the state cares about is shitty football, which you've referenced in this conversation.
If you don't mind me asking, who is your favorite player on the Stars, what kind of player is he (Defensive D-man, playmaker, sniper, ect..), and why is he your favorite?
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Like I said,. You know shit all about hockey in the state of Texas. Don't talk shit because you don't know shit.
On the current Stars roster, my favorite players are Kari Lehtonen, the goaltender, Jamie Benn and Loui Eriksson, both of which are forwards. Just FYI. Sports Illustrated just polled 179 hockey players and asked who the most underrated hockey player is. Eriksson was picked.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal I think they're excellent, but under-appreciated players. If only they played in an actual hockey market. What do you like the most about Eriksson's game?
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks They do play in hockey markets. Dallas, Texas. You would know that attendance is up quite a bit this year if you bothered to pay attention to hockey at all. You are a troll dude.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Dallas' attendance is up? Are you fucking kidding me? 28th in the league with an average 12,904 attending per night. Much lower than the 15,073 average from last year. I love how I know more about your team/market than you do.
I'm not a troll, I'm a person who's proven you wrong time and time again with facts. Whine all you want about your so called "knowledge of the game," but you've made several errors that undoubtedly prove that you barely even know the basics.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Indeed you do not pay attention., Attendance has risen by 27% since the Stars got a new owner. They have begun to sell out a few games. Then again, you know jack shit about the Texas hockey market just like you know jack shit about hockey.
You are a troll. You think that just because I live in Texas, I cannot be a serious hockey fan,. News flash: The Stars have been in Texas for 19 years now. That is plenty of time to accumulate more than a few hardcore fans
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Give me a link on your "27%" statistic. As I've indicted, attendance has dropped off since last year. 69.6 percent of the building is occupied, on average. Terrible number for a good team. These statistics are coming from ESPN, so you know they're factual. I'll PM you a link if you want.
Texans just don't know the game (aside from Myers and Leetch). I've never met one who does. It's a football state with football fans.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks You are going to have to give me a little time to find the link because the Stars twitter account tweeted about it a couple of weeks ago. Attendance has improved since they got a new owner.
Here is a Texan that does know the game, and I am not the only one. My dad, brother and uncle are all big hockey fans. My uncle lives in Oklahoma, and he is still a big Stars fan. My friend Pierce is a Stars fan too. To name a few
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Oh really? That's cool. I don't really care about you or your shitty Texas family and their preferences. I know that you're a casual fan, because you talk about hockey like a fucking idiot.
Quick question: if you played hockey, or if you know about on-ice chatter, what word is used more than any other besides "fuck/fucking"? You don't sound like a hockey player, or even a hockey fan. I know when people know their shit, and it really seems like you're lying.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks If I was a casual fan, I would not pay close attention to every Stars game every year, but I do. If I was a casual fan, I would not have followed them for the past 15 years, even when they had seasons where they weren't that great or were just plain frustrating, and they have had those more recently. I follow them closely anyway. I am far from a casual fan. I am a serious hockey fan
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Pay attention to? I love how I watch every, no MATTER what, and you claim you know more then me. You "keep up" with the team, rather than keeping with the team. In Texas, a casual fan seems like a hardcore fan.
You probably know more than all of your family and acquaintances, and that's fine. The more north you go, the more they know. I'm much like a Canadian fan, I live and breathe hockey. I never miss a game, and I've always ONLY loved hockey.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Sometimes life gets in the way of watching hockey. Sometimes shit happens like you don't live in an area where your team actually gets televised, and you are poor.
In Texas, a hardcore fan is a hardcore fan, and that is what I am. I am a hardcore Stars fan. I always have been
On the contrary, both my dad and uncle know just as much as I do. Quite a bit.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal In Canada or Minnesota, you'd be considered a casual. Hell, any half decent hockey market. You'd look like a genius in Phoenix, but you'd look like a dumbass in Montreal.
You just over-estimate your knowledge of the game because no one around you understands/cares about the sport. You aren't special up north. You're just the average casual hockey fan, which is fine.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Unlike you, I am smart enough to be able to follow more than one sport. Hockey and baseball do not even take place during the same time of the year anyway. They make it easy for you, and you still can't follow more than one sport
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Intelligence isn't correlated with the amount of sports you watch, Texan. Should I watch every sport and be the smartest man in the world? I don't like baseball because it's not hockey. I don't like any sport unless it's hockey.
That's the definition of a hardcore fan; someone who dedicates himself to one game. In the off-season I watch the draft, wait for the July 1st, and watch recordings of old games. I've seen the finals upwards to ten times. All you do is watch baseball.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks I am not lying.I used to play every single weekend with a large group of friends back in Texas. It was roller hockey, but that is still hockey.
What is a little odd is that I had a larger group of friends into the sport in Texas than here in Pennsylvania. Here I know 1 person that is as into the sport as I am. You would think that, with a state that has 2 very good NHL teams and the Hershey Bears, I would know more people that love the sport like I do
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Trust me, Philly is an excellent hockey town. In '74 and '75, two million fans were at the parade(s). Their attendance is great, their rating are great, and the fan support is excellent. One of the top non-Original Six teams in the States. That's not even mentioning the Pens.
Just because you personally had a different experience, it doesn't change the fact that Philly is the superior hockey town in every regard. Your little fan tracking and scaling system doesn't work.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks I do not live in Philly. The closest hockey team to me is the Hershey Bears.
I have nothing against the Flyers, but I hate the Pens.
I was noting that it is a little odd. How did you miss that when I said it word for word? Fuck you are dumb.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Well, when everything you type is nearly illegible, it's tough to get the message across. If you read my response, I never said you lived there. I was just stating what an excellent hockey-town Philly was, and that I "hadn't even mentioned the Pens yet." You write like a child, but what can you expect from a Texan, right? Nice shitty educational system.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks I have proven that I know the game better than you. I have proven that I actually do follow it,. All you have done is talk shit and make errors like claim that hockey barely has a presence in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. YOU DO NOT EVEN LIVE THERE., I lived through it gaining a strong presence in the area. You didn't. The Stars have done wonders for hockey in Dallas. Prior to 1993, it barely had a presence. Now it very much has a presence
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal How have you proven that? Give me facts, give me evidence. You have none, you're just a gyrating spew of repetition. "I know the game. Hockey is Texas' biggest sport. Tretiak was the best goalie. You don't know shit about hockey. I've watched hockey grow in Texas. The Soviet leagues were better than the NHL."
Take these quotes, repeat them in varying orders dozens of times, and that's how you try to argue. Maybe you'll copy and paste one of my insults and say, "No, you are."
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks You haven't given facts. I have. In fact. I just gave you facts. Literally. Just now. In the reply before this one.
I did not say that the Soviet league was better than the NHL. I said the Soviet league was not shitty. How about actually paying attention to the conversation you are having, dumbass? If you keep up, you don't look like the idiot that you are
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal How is saying that the Soviet league was good a "fact"? Do you know what fact means? It doesn't mean opinion. If you don't mind, go ahead and list your facts that you've listed. You've brought up Belfour's numbers in the Buffalo series, and that's about it.
Also, could you stop copying each fucking insult I give you? You've been doing this the entire argument, and it makes you seem like you're either mentally deficient or nine years old.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks The stats I gave you are facts dude. Holy fuck you are dumb.
Could you start replying to things I actually said? It makes you look delusional and stupid
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal What stats? Please, elaborate.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks How about the stats I gave on Mike Ribeiro, Jamie Benn and Loui Erikkson or the awards I listed that Belfour won? They were all facts
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal I already brought up Belfour's awards? As far as the Edmonton Dallas game, I watched it, so not sure what was so informing there. Facts I already knew, but still facts I guess.
But if you watched so much hockey, and since I obviously know your team well, tell me some facts about my team. Not the old one, either, just the current Avs. Who's our best defensemen? Who's been our best player? Who's our starting goalie? Go ahead then.
ebtricks 1 month ago 2
@ebtricks No. I brought up Belfours awards.
You don't know much of anything about my team. Varlamov has played quite a few more games between the pipes, but Giguere should be starting because his stats are better. Duchene is your leading goal scorer. O'Reilly is leads your team in assists and points, though. Landeskog has the best +/-
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Are you kidding me? You just looked at a fucking stats sheet and typed it out. I asked for something ABOUT my team. I've already got each of these stats imprinted in my head. Tell me something like this:
Loui is a franchise player and he's incredibly intelligent with the puck, Benn's goal against Columbus was fucking disgusting, Ryder was an underrated acquisition and has one of the better wristers in the league, Ribero is one of the most creative players the puck.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Ribeiro typo.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks And Sheldon Souray has a nasty slapshot.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Can you list some real FACTS about my Avs that aren't on a stats sheet that you can just look up? Tell me who works the hardest, who's the smartest, fastest, who has the hardest shot, ect... Prove to me that you watch hockey. The Stars have played my Avs three times this year, so you should know the basic shit.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks P.S. I sat in the Washing DC airport and listened to the Stars beat Edmonton today 4 to 1. Benn got two goals. Eriksson got 3 assists. Ribeiro got 2 goals, but you kind of have to take his small victories with a grain of salt because his +/- tends to be horrible every year. Bachman did a stellar job backing up Lehtonen. Edmonton has not beaten Dallas in regulation in the AAC since 2006. Dallas has their number. Yes. I really do follow hockey
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Good job listening to the game in the airport. I haven't missed an Avs game in two and a half years, and yes, I would know the stats, because I watched it. Who says a hockey player has a "small victory" in game? He scored two goals? You see, you don't talk right. You just sound so fucked up.
Oh yeah, Ribero's +2 is so shitty this year. Just like his +21 back in 07-08. What the fuck was that even supposed to mean? If anything, this post disproves that you watch much hockey.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks And I keep up with the Stars for every game because I am a real hockey fan
That +21 was the best year of his career. After that, it was 3 seasons in a row with a negative +/-. The reason he is + right now is because he has scored 4 goals in the last 2 games. The problem? I know he will not produce consistently. He never does. Eriksson is +14. Benn is +10. Souray is +9. Ryder is +8
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Plenty of border teams have top six players with a negative +/-. To be honest, people look into that stat too much. I doubt you even get the meaning of it. It isn't just to outscore your opponent, but to be sound defensively as well. The fact that you brought that up in mentioning one game makes no sense. Rather then him being on pace for 60 points, you only bitch about his +/-. I think he's produced fine for the role he's in, and you're just fucking clueless.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks His defense is the problem. Watch him regularly, and you will see that he is pretty terrible on defense. I don't doubt his ability to get a shit load of assists and some goals too, but his defense really hurts the team. It's why they got rid of Matt Niskanen. Unfortunately, they got rid of James Neal, too. They got Goligoski, who is great, but damn it I miss James Neal playing in a Stars uniform.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@ebtricks Let me give you an example. IT is from another sport, but it stands. Barry Sanders. He is one of the greatest football players of all time. Did he ever win a Super Bowl? No. His team sucked too much.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal You can't even argue within the sport we're talking about. I don't give a fuck about that shitty sport or the rats that play it. Once again, you're not a hockey fan.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks You do not understand the concept of an example of how someone can be one of the best at their respective sport without getting a bunch of awards or accomplisments for it. You do not know hockey or sports at all., You are not a fan. Get out.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal So tell me, what formula do you use to determine the best players in each of their respective sports? Hall of Famer on a Texas team = Best player ever? I'd say winning is the objective of sports, and the goalies I've listed have done it the most. An argument for competitiveness could be made, but NO goalies have competed harder than Roy, Hasek, and Brodeur. Tretiak in his shitty Soviet league doesn't compare. Belfour and his one cup and fairly average numbers can never compare.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Your calling the Soviet league shitty and Belfour average is prove that you know NOTHING about hockey. Read a book. Do some research and then come talk to me.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal The Soviet league was shitty. From what we know, there were only a few powerhouse teams that were against the grunt teams. For CSKA Moscow in three years, Tretiak had 81 wins, 7 losses, and four ties. ANY competitive league would never allow a player to have these unrealistic numbers.
Read a book? We're talking about fucking hockey and you tell me to read a book? I've listed dozens of facts to this point, and you've listed none. I think it's you who needs to "read a book."
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Yes. Read a book. There are books on the history of hockey. Dumbass.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Hockey is a visual game. You don't read the game, you watch. The only thing that needs to be read is rules and statistics. I don't care about some shitty biography for Mark Messier.
It's funny you bring up books, because you're yet to post a single fact proving your argument right or wrong. I've listed dozens of facts, examples, and logical reasons as to why I'm correct, while you just blatantly repeat "You don't know hockey, I know hockey." Sure thing, Texan.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks What you are basically saying is that the history of hockey holds no importance or significance. This is proof positive that you are not a real hockey fan and that you know jack shit about the sport.
Ignoring the facts I presented only makes you look like more of an idiot.
I am Texan and proud.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Where did you get that I said the history of hockey has no significance? I never said that, so good job making up a lie to try and prove your point (which is what?). Go ahead, look through my favorites. There's hundreds, if not thousands of hockey videos spanning for two to three years.
You have no facts; you've presented none. All you do is repeat yourself, and me. You're not too bright for being 26, especially indicted by your terrible grammar. Texans, what can you expect?
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks I am telling you to read up on the history of hockey, and you are calling bullshit on that. You are saying that it has no significance.
Your repeatedly ignoring the fact that I have presented is not my fault. It does make you look stupid, though. Idiot.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal I read articles, I read stats, I read game previews and what have you, but I don't read books about hockey. I have in the past, but not now. The history of hockey wasn't written, it was within actions. If you could recommend a book that actually gives insight on the sport that isn't an auto-biography/biography, then I'd appreciate it.
What isn't your fault, that you're a Texan? Hey, we're not all perfect. Just be the Texan you are and go rant about how shitty the Cowboys are.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks I am not a big fan of football, and I prefer college football to the NFL. The team called the Cowboys that I cheer for won. They were 12 and 1.
I am a Texan who is all about hockey and baseball, and I am very proud of it.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@ebtricks The Soviets best repeatedly beat up on hte NHLs best, and Tretiak was their goal tender. He taught both Belfour and Hasek in Chicago.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal The Soviets were a team that knew one another very well, and had formed chemistry for decades. NHLer's were put on all-star teams, which as we found out from Herb Brooks, chemistry and work ethic could be used more effectively than raw talent.
The Soviets were not only known for their skill, but also for their strange antics. They'd do ANYTHING off the ice to throw NHLer's off their game, and it worked. Philly sure did scare the living hell out of them in 76', though.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks They, also, beat team USA and Canada both repeatedly in international play. It took a truly special coach with a truly special team to take them down.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Once again, chemistry and experience is why they won, not raw talent. It's funny how you've never even seen the Soviets from 60-80 yet you pretend you're an expert and fan. You're not the only late American to kiss-ass the Soviets, and they were great hockey players, but it still holds true today that the NHL is the best league in the game with the best players, and it always will be.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks I did not say it was raw talent, you worthless fuck.
Prove that I have never seen them play. Prove that I have never even so much as watched clips of them playing. You can't, and I have.
IO never said that the NHL was not the best league. I never brought that into question. Why are you arguing against things that I never said?
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Clips? Oh wow, looks like we have another Youtube scout. You watch a three minute video and pretend you know them perfectly. I've seen as many "clips" on Tretiak as you, I've even watched a couple of re-run games when available. Though it isn't my generation. I love learning from it, and I really do enjoy watching the classics, but I don't act like I'm a pseudo expert NHL traditionalist.
I never said you said the NHL wasn't the best league, I was mocking you.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Where did I say that clips was all that I saw?
fsmetal 1 month ago
@ebtricks By the way. Belfour beat Hasek too. He beat Hasek when it counted the most DURING HASEK'S PRIME!
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Hasek's tenure with the Chicago was NOT his prime, that was essentially the start of his career. Shame his goalie coach, "the best goalie in the world" Tretiak couldn't make him better than the superhuman Ed Belfour.
Hasek went on to Buffalo, Detroit, and Ottawa to produce far better career number and milestones far beyond Belfour's career. Oh wait, numbers, awards, and winning don't matter in sports, the best players are the best because they play for a Texas team.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Belfour beat Hasek in the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals when Hasek was in Buffalo dude. You really need to learn something about hockey.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Why do you keep saying "HE BEAT ROY," or "HE BEAT HASEK"? He didn't beat shit. He won a series against them, which is a TEAM centric effort. Buffalo was a fucking HORRIBLE Stanley Cup team, with a terrible roster. The Stars were loaded with talent. Hasek beat Belfour in winning two cups.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks Belfour outplayed Hasek when it counted most dude.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@ebtricks *looks down at the Vladislave Tretiak CCCP jersey I am wearing right now. Reads your comment* Yeah. You are definitely an idiot
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal You're not the only little fan of Tretiak. You're 26 and you've never seen him play, you've never seen his numbers, and you don't even know what league he played in. You barely even understand who he was as a goalie.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks I like how you just automatically assume. All that you know about me is that I am a Texan and that I like Tretiak and Belfour. You do not know what I have seen. You do not know what facts and stats I know about him. You just assume. You are wrong in your assumptions, by the way
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Well, I know that you haven't played much hockey, and that you haven't watched much. You just create little fantasies about players whom you've never seen before.
If you did know his stats, you wouldn't have even brought Belfour into the conversation. I admitted he was top ten, which is very fair. For whatever reason you're still whining about it.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks I have played hockey. I have watch shit tons of hockey over the last 15 years. I have been to a lot of hockey games. You are just an idiot. You know jack all about hockey
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Look at you profile; only one slight mention of hockey. You also like fucking baseball, which is evidence that you double-dip in sports. I only watch hockey. It's the only sport that matters to me. You're obviously lying about your knowledge of the game, which is fine, because I know I watch WAY more hockey than any Texan ever has. I've grown up watching and playing, while you just pretend like it's "your sport," when really you're a casual little fan who likes shitty baseball.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks You called Belfour average. Average players do not wind up in the hall of fame, and he was elected in 2011.It was his first year of eligibility. That does not happen unless there is no doubt man.
For the record - 53 saves in the cup winning game 6. His GAA was a damned amazing 1.26 for that series 2 Vezinas. 4 Jennings. The Calder. 6 All Star games. Belfour was amazing.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Re-read my comments, I NEVER called Belfour average. I've repeated twice that he's a top ten goalie in NHL history. I said his GAA and save percentage were average, especially in comparison to Hasek's.
If you knew ANYTHING about Roy, Hasek, or Brodeur, you'd realize that those numbers, while incredibly prestigious and impressive, are dwarfed by the top three goalies. My argument isn't that Belfour was not good, he was excellent, it's that he isn't top three in NHL history.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks I never said he was top 3 dumbass. I said he should be included in you list of best goaltenders ever because he damned well was. His career GAA and save percentage were not average compared to anything.
You are not taking into consideration that Hasek and Roy played on better teams, as a whole, than Belfour did after he left Dallas. HE never again played on a team that had defense that was close to what the Stars had with guys like Zubov and Sydor
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal So what's you argument? I said he was top ten, meaning that I agree he was one of the greatest of all time. Can you even read? This is the third time I've said this, yet you continuously ignore it.
The whole "better team" argument is bullshit, too, because all of the goalies had excellent shots on great teams. Roy had to play for a weak Montreal, Hasek for Buffalo, and Brodeur is one of the few to stick on the same team. Belfour got to play for Dallas when they were loaded.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks You argued with me when I said he deserves mention among the greatest of all time dude. That is how this whole mess started, basically. That and you apperently don't think Tretiak is the absolute greatness that he really is.
Great defense can make goalies look better. That was my point. Proof: Osgood. He is not bad, but he is not the god that Detroit fans make him out to be.
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal I said he wasn't a top three goalie, and you said, "if you're going to mention the best, at least mention Belfour", which, to be honest, there are still many more goalies I'd mention before him. I think that people don't understand Tretiak and what kind of goalie he was, yet they make claims that he's the best ever while never seeing him play. I've seen Hasek, Roy, and Brodeur play, I've never seen Plante, Dryden, Parent, or Sawchuk play, so I don't claim that they're the best.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks There should not be many more goalies that you would mention before him. I think you just hate him because he beat your precious Roy in the Western Conference Finals twice
fsmetal 1 month ago
@fsmetal Roy won his four cups and three Conn Smythe's, so I don't give a fuck. The Wings ruined more opportunities for the Avs as an organization than anyone, so I dislike them the most. The also harbor the rat, Todd Bertuzzi.
Look at professional top ten lists based upon factual achievement, Belfour is 10-7 on those lists, if at all. I think that's reasonable, because there are more traditional goalies that deserve nods for their performance.
ebtricks 1 month ago
@ebtricks For someone who talks about "hardcore fans" and being knowledgeable on hockey, you sure contradict that with your idiotic layperson view of Bertuzzi.

@cursedlemon Sorry, I was nine years old when I watched him sucker and break the neck of one of our players. I vowed to hate him no matter what the circumstances. He doesn't deserve to be in the NHL, and I'm not the only one that thinks this.
