  • hey nice vid, but can u help me? easy lube question. the pb shop gave me a tube of smart parts sleek silicone lube, do u recomend using that on the vortex? idk but i can still feel metal to metal rubbing when i spin the cyclone by hand slowly... opinion? thanks dude!

  • As long as it is a grease you should be just fine.

  • Does crisco work?

  • was this easy for u ur first time im a newb and don't do to well with small pieces. i would like to do this upgrade but im not sure if i can.

  • I didn't have any troubles with it. It is fairly easy to install.

  • can i use real rifle cleaning grease

  • NO. Only use White Lithium Grease, or a paintball grease such as TechT Gun Sav, Pure Lube, ect.

  • why cant i use oil?

  • Oil will run off the Axle/Ratchet and not do anything. You need to use a grease that will stick to the Axle/Ratchet and provide lubrication. TechT Gun Sav, Pure Lube, White Lithium Grease, Dye Slick Lube. Any of these should work.

  • Nice tutorial man..
