MGMT sucks live, they cant preform for spit. Animal Collective's shows are beyond amazing. You can feel the music, you can fell them pouring themselves into the shows, and believe me it shows. Not everyone enjoys animal collective just like not everyone enjoys ice cream or chocolate. And for everyone that thinks "if they were good the radio would tell us" then you need to listen more because An Co, panda bear, avey tare, geologist, and deakin are EVERYWHERE! I did my share of illegal activity, during which I discovered Animal Collective. It was a hazy, fun time. Now, due to life events, I can't enjoy my illegal activities anymore. I've played Animal Collective for people who looked at me with a facial expression as if to say "what is this?" I want to tell them it's like a summer day as a kid when you have a hose out and spray aimlessly to see the rainbow. This is the sonic version of that experience. Just let it soak in and relax.
